My country (the Philippines) was colonized by the Spanish for almost 4 hundred years and sold us to the U.S. for 20 million in 1898. But the U.S. educated us and gave us the independence after World War two. The Americans shed their blood in the Philippines against the Japanese occupation, that is why we still cling to them to this day. Today, the Philippines has the biggest American cemetery in the world and the Filipinos are English speaking in Southeast Asia. My hope is for Burkina Faso and its population will be prosperous country and to be truly free from barbaric colonizer. God bless.
