It's entertaining how many times you all debate whether to give Lincoln the roller skates even though you all have just talked about how he can't use them numerous times because he has the bust. Overall really good explanation of the game and it seems really fun. Thanks for the video.

I finally managed to find this game and just did a solo run-through. I was on the 3rd floor and one space away from the stairs when the guard caught me. Such an AMAZING game!!!

Great video for a great game! Just rewatched it (appropriately for a heist in the middle of the night) after seeing Rodney 'Watch it Played'-video for part 2 and enjoyed it very much. Hope to get a package in the mail soon! Love the thematically and totally awesome intro. Rusty did a really good job with the rules explanation. Hope to give it a try asap!

Dave seemed like a huge Alpha gamer during this game. Personal rule, nobody moves another players piece unless directed to by the player. Nikki seemed like she was ignored for the most part. Cooperative games are great and everyone should collaborate and listen to one another, but each person should have final say for their own turns.

@@AdamRussellCycling perhaps because ALL of the other players are guys? nikki also failed to comprehend basic rules and remember them for most of the game. she tends to be slower at picking up games than some of the other guys on the show. yes dave should not have done what he did making all decisions for her, however she never made a decision and seemed paralyzed in decision making. very annoying game to watch in all honesty

@Ivo Louppen Well, to tell you the truth. I think it makes more sense if the camera room was a permanent alarm room instead of a temporary one, which depends on the guard being on another camera room. No guard in real life switches back and forth between patrol and checking cameras in the CCTV control room. So I like the fact that they made this mistake, but at the same time not so much. Very old video and comment thread, but I wanted to voice my opinion.

After watching through the game, they have also forgotten to pull event cards after not completing all of their actions. This happens in the second half on the second floor mostly.

@@thehotdogman9317 While this is true the interesting part about how camera tiles work in this game is that if any guard is on a camera tile it watches all cameras on all floors. I once had a game where we were about to escape on floor 3 but the guard on lvl 1 was on cameras and since they don't move till you end your turn on that floor we got caught 😂

japol hmmmmm. It could be rampant sexism. Or it could be Nikki is finding it hard to get the rules (and she is), or it could be a combination of their personality styles. E.g. Dave in particular seems to find it hard to not be blunt. He tends to think out aloud too. But perhaps I’m just mansplaining? Presenting things ideologically is the best Way to suck the fucking joy out of everything. We should ask Nikki what she thinks. And if she is annoyed she could say so. My female friends have no problem telling me to shut up. But perhaps I’m in an oppressive matriarchy.

I could be wrong as my friend is borrowing my copy, but did you guys remove "x" amount of cards from each guard deck. If I remember it's supposed to be imperfect knowledge as in he could be going there or there or there... also it forces you to reshuffle all the cards faster thus increasing the guard movement.

  • @MajinWamu

Hello, and forgive me if you already know the answer to your question but in a 4 player game, no patrol cards are discarded. Also when discard patrol card, you are allowed to look through the discard pile. Unless, you might be thinking of the more advanced and expert rules provided by the game, but they are playing the beginner variation.

At 35:35 they didn't move the guard "clockwise". The guard should have taken the path through the safe room and found two players. A big mistake like that this early in the game makes me think a lot more mistakes are going to happen.

+Jared Quintana yes but I think he rarely wins anyway - LOL - I think its part of being the main person who explains the games and that can lead to alpha type playing - I get the impression and its certainly been said on some videos that he has played some games 2 or 3 times while for the others its fresh - again I think familiarity brings an element of alpha behaviour

+Tor Iver Wilhelmsen I do understand Coop games lend themselves to this. It is something I know I have to keep reminding myself to not do when I play. I have watched other episodes and it does seem to be a re-occurring theme outside of coop games though. Although the "help" seems to be directed at Nikki. I also understand that this group plays friendly and maybe they either do not see it or choose to overlook it. Either way I do enjoy their videos. I just wish sometimes the other players will tell those that like to "give advice" to just shut their trap :P
