BURGAS, Bulgaria 🇧🇬 - 4K 60fps (UHD)
Burgas is a city in Bulgaria, on the Black Sea coast. It's the fourth largest city in Bulgaria and one of the touristic destinations. The city is known for its beaches, has a humid subtropical climate, with mild winters and warm summers. Attractions include the Sea Garden, a large park by the sea from where we start our walking tour.
In the beginning of our walk we overlook the Black Sea with the Pier of Burgas, which we will walk on another tour. Passing through the park we are soon on one main walking street, the Boulevard Aleko Bogoridi. Most restaurants and shops line this path which we will walk through the city center from east to west.
On the "Troyaka" square we turn north towards the church St. Ivan Rilski and Burgas Free University, where we end our walking tour of Burgas.

Ha, yeah, I get this a lot - even just minutes ago when police was looking for a drone operator in the area. The current multicam rig looks like half a drone though without propellers so I got explaining to do. Not sure how to avoid really - maybe with a multilingual sign
Is English speaking common here or will have to learn native language for tourism

I most touristic places in Europe you'll be fine with English, German or Russian. Local businesses in tourist cities want to sell things and they'll cater to tourist in the popular languages tourists speak. In some restaurants you'll also have pictures often so you just point at things for the waiter who may not speak foreign languages
The cause of the disgusting smell from Lake Vaya in Burgas has been revealed January 21, 2024 Over the past week, institutions have received numerous reports of unpleasant odors emanating from Lake Vaya near Burgas. This provoked an inspection by environmental inspectors of the Burgas municipality. During inspections, no local sources of pollution were identified. However, the presence of significant amounts of dead algae in various stages of decomposition was discovered. The reason for the large number of dead algae is a dry and hot summer season with consistently high temperatures, in many cases above average, experts say.
