I’m sure Hoxton wasn’t aware it was not genuine, because I don’t see why he’d ruin his reputation by making this video on it as if it was a genuine Burberry. What I find crazy is how both you and Hoxton are praising the “quality” of the jacket as if it isn’t a very bad mid tier rep. All the best on getting your money back

@@rickoakes8862 Yeah, they cut them out because they're not authorized Stone Island dealers so they cut them out so they can't be traced back to them or something like that they're legit though DP-US been about for ages Hoxton's done a few vids in the past with them.

Yeah DPUs do that, I’ve brought a few pieces from them in the past but normally CP company. I wouldn’t buy it with the certi logo cut off and even when they told me why etc it didn’t sit right with me. They don’t sell fakes but imagine trying to sell it on explaining it.

This is 100% a bad replica of the Burberry Lockwell puffer jacket. The tartan collar is the wrong color (it’s too dark when it’s supposed to be a lighter shade of grey) and also has the wrong pattern (the collar is meant to have a cross pattern on each end of the collar and also in the middle). The arm badge is also not indented into the sleeve like it is with retail. Mr HoxtonTrend, this is not even a top tier rep, yet someone as knowledgeable of clothes and someone who owns as much retail Burberry as you do is fooled into thinking this is a genuine item, is a testament to the quality of reps these days. For you to be praising the quality of this rep is really shocking

@@thehoxtontrend I respect you very much and by no means do I think that you’re complicit in this. If you did buy it from the outlet, it’s possible that somebody scammed the outlet by returning this rep to them and somehow it slipped through the net (that kind of scam was very prevalent in stores like Flannels etc). But you should definitely chase it up with whatever outlet you purchased it from because this is unacceptable. This jacket is 100% fake though, and anybody who has the retail Lockwell will tell you the same thing. You can also google pictures of the Lockwell and you’ll see that it’s completely different to the rep you have in this video (in terms of details and quality). What really is upsetting is that you have soo many retail Burberry items but you weren’t even able to tell that this is a rep (a very bad one at that) and even went on to praise its “quality”. If someone like YOU can fall for it, ordinary people like us who are less knowledgeable are doomed :(

Agree with what you said although would never have noticed if you hadn’t mentioned it and I hadn’t compared it with my own in more detail. The most important thing to look for with these jackets is the collar/hood area. The checkered cross needs to be placed in the corners of the inside (should also have 4 diamond squares if that makes sense) but corner pattern alignment on Hox jacket is suspect and a potential red flag. Other flaws to look for include badge placement, the 3D text of badge not being 3D enough and the badge not sitting flush on the surface - all of these hard to tell for me from video but as explained above collar/hood area is suspect and a red flag imo. As Hox mentioned in his comment above he bought from official Burberry outlet so it could be a case of factory error with hood/collar pattern/materials which is why it was in outlet in 1st place. Other possible option as you mentioned is that jacket is in fact fake and an original was bought and replaced with a copy and staff have failed with quality control when item was returned.
