I smelled this about a week ago at Nordstrom and upon first spray, I got a burst of ginger and wished there was more vanilla but as it dried down the vanilla came through and I couldn’t stop smelling my arm all day. This is now on my full bottle wishlist!

I was just walking through Nordstrom and smelled this. Loved it! I definitely prefer it over Bronze Goddess and I'm thinking I may need a full bottle. Vanilla is my favorite note and this one is so nice.

What size did you buy? At the airport duty free, 50ml is $109 before tax, 100ml is $139 before tax. Might as well get the 100ml there with the 20% off employee discountI’m not paying $168 for it at Sephora.

I like the Burberry Hero and was supposed to repurchase it but I tried to smell Burberry Goddess and bought it instead. I don’t really care if it’s a women’s fragrance, it smells delicious and it doesn’t hurt my nose. A must buy!

I didn’t pick up lavender. I just got a heavy vanilla. Great for fall/winter, but not totally unique. I’d need to test it in my skin. Overly priced in my opinion, but Burberry doesn’t usually make vanilla prominent fragrances.

Yep that's why I said even though the lavender is there it's not like super lavendery. Yes it's overpriced sadly.

I love this one! Smells cozy and classy to me. Was able to pick it up at a duty free in Seoul this summer.

i just bought the 1oz bottle and I adore it! I love the top notes of vanilla and lavender, middle notes of vanilla caviar and base notes of vanilla absolute. Not a basic vanilla, by all means. My go to fragrance!!

I just picked up a bottle last night and I'm in love with the vanilla! Sadly, the lavender makes me feel a bit nauseous 😞 but the dry down of the vanilla is HEAVENLY so I'm okay with dealing with the lavender for about 30 minutes to get to the delicious vanilla dry down.

I’m not a trademark attorney, but on the names my layperson guess is that since it includes the brand name they can only trademark them together. As in even if Mugler was able to trademark Alien Goddess, they wouldn’t have been able to trademark Goddess on its own. Burberry is probably okay since the full name of the perfume is Burberry Goddess.

I was going to say what you said. The full name is Burberry Goddess. Goddess by itself is pretty much a public domain name at this point, so you can't trademark it by itself.

Love this! AND so thankful for a fragrance name that is just 1 word rather than some that feel like a whole sentence. But that might change if they release flankers. As a vanilla lover, I would love that and Burberry did an amazing job with the vanilla in Goddess!

Just purchased Burberry Godess, Rich Gourmand Vanilla, i find the difference between Burberry Godess -Alien Godess -Bronze Godess is Burberry Godess is "smoother" vanilla smells top quality, hope if they do flankers they do more "unique Gourmand" range scents , towards niche gourmands ..examples. marshmellow, caramel, coffee..eatable yum. Btw this scent was a pleasant surprise compared to other released Burberry scents

I sprayed in store the other day. Did not smell the lavender which I love. I prefer Alien Goddess and I have Bronze Goddess and also Guerlain Terrecotta which reminds me a little of the others. Nice review thanks

Bronze goddess is more of a summer like suntan fragrance Burberry goddess definitely seems good for fall and winter

Buying the smallest bottle and the refill seems the best! Small enough for travel but can top off easily so never worried about running low on a small bottle.

I def got a 1.6 bottle last week during sephoras friends and family sale. def a fall scent!

Thank you for this review. I went and purchased the travel size from Sephora. I sprayed it in the store. Went to Macys a hour later and received several compliments from multiple people in the perfume section regarding the fragrance. They purchased the fragrance right then. This is a beautiful fragrance.

Even though I'm not the biggest fan of vanilla, I'm willing to give this a try.

I had this Yankee candle that I loved which had a gorgeous lavender and vanilla and I wished to smell a similar perfume and guess what I have found the lavender & vanilla combo it’s so fabulous classy cosy and so luxurious all at once I’m totally in love with the largest bottle in my collection I’m not sure about goddess title I can’t see the connection I’m not a fan of alien goddess sold as soon as I bought it bronze goddess just didn’t do it for me But the Burberry bottle is gorgeous ❤❤❤

I was shopping in Macy’s and sprayed it on my skin. Oh my God, it’s delicious. I left about an hour ago and I keep smelling it. I am definitely getting a bottle. I’m listening to this while I’m driving and I agree that it’s delicious and juicy.

Lavender and vanilla just takes me straight to one of my favourite perfume, mon guerlain intense, any chance they smell similar?

I’m excited for this! I’m seeing comparisons to Maison Lancôme’s Lavandes Trianon (now sadly discontinued) on Fragrantica, which definitely intrigues me. Maybe the entire name is copyrighted? “Alien Goddess” and “Bronze Goddess” vs. “Goddess” by Burberry… just a thought/guess. Thanks for posting!

I am an admirer of Lancome Lavande and if this is a distant cousin, it would be wonderful!!!

I believe to remember, that there are certain words / names that cannot be trademaked, such as God, Goddess, Bible, milk, bread etc. Words that are frequently used in everyday language or if others would be prevented to describe their own product. How Apple managed to trademark that word is something else however. Long story short, I believe Goddess cannot be trademarked. But I could be wrong and would be interested to find out.

Burberry Goddess is one of the very few fragrances that actually smells quite nice on my skin. Bronze Goddess not so much. I think it’s a nice warm weather fragrance.

I’m kind of over vanilla. I mean, I like it, but it can overshadow the composition. I’m over beachy fragrances and I’ve gone to green extreme!

Lush also have a goddess perfume. The burberry one is delicious ...

Having worn and loved Burberry Body for so long, I quite liked Burberry her though it was a little lacking. I will definitely seek this out, sounds a little like ysl libre goes on holiday

It is my understanding that the Supreme Court ruled that no one can trademark religious or deity names. Technically goddess falls into that category.

Estée Lauder did a Tom Ford scent a long time ago that I loved I think it may have been Azure something. I loved it. It reminded me of summer.

I now have both and the BO is a little sweeter, and more like a vanilla extract smell, but a drier sweetness with the coffee in there. The goddess is less sweet but warmer and definitely agree with his butterscotch comment. Both are great on their own, but they are gorgeous layered together.

I love vanilla, but that price makes me hesitant. Its about $90 for a 30ml. Seems like niche pricing. I'll test it for sure though, sounds right up my alley.

I am very disappointed with Alien goddess will return it whatever it takes. I have a sample of Burberry goddess I like it and happy you do too, just confused about the projection I want my perfume to stand out.

Maybe the brand name distinguishes and clarifies various perfumes with the same names?

Lavender and vanilla make me think of Libre Intense and Mon Guerlain Intense 😉🥰 I’m curious how they compare to Burberry Goddess 🤔

Which is the best Burberry her, Burberry goddess, or Dolce & Gabbana devotion, if you could only pick one, which is your fave??? Lots of hype on all 3…I did try on Burberry goddess and it smelled great for all of a minute… but on me was a very faint scent…but 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think the Goddess name is popular due to the rise in Feminine Energy in the spiritual community. There is a lot of buzz the last few years about the feminine/goddess energy rising. Women taking back their power, etc. I could be wrong, but it's just my thoughts

This is quite good to me. Although I bought this from duty free in Montreal so I didn't check price but I just checked local prices and it's priced quite high sadly. That's pretty much the only negative.

I miss Lavandes Trianon by Lancome, I'm not sure if Goddess is similar, but I hope so 🙂

I have a travel size and Burberry Goddess it's just okay. I'm not that impressed with it. I went through a bottle of Alien Goddess but not purchasing another bottle. I have other Vanilla scents that are better.

copyright is my forte, but I would assume “goddess” is pretty generic and would not be original enough to stand alone for a trademark ______ goddess might have enough originality - but I would assume “goddess” alone would not

I purchased the one ounce after testing on a perfume strip. On the strip I got this beautiful ginger, a little lemon and the cacao. On my skin I don’t get the lemon but I do get the ginger. It’s very loud on my skin for about an hour and then it completely dies down and sits so close to the skin. It reminds me of a very sweet take on Kilian Princess Eau Fraiche but not the original Kilian Princess at all.

Ariana Grande also has a perfume with goddess
