RECEPIES:
UDMURT SHANEZHKI with millet porridge
Dough:
(everything is taken by eye)
Rye flour,
sunflower oil,
salt,
Hot boiling water (pour flour)
Filling:
Millet porridge with milk,
Eggs to make the porridge thinner,
Ghee for top lubrication

The dough is like shanezhki dough
Filling:
Kalega (rutabaga)
poppy seeds,
sugar to taste

Это шаньги, которые нам бабушка пекла в русской печке в детстве с творогом, и с картошкой, и с морковкой, и с грибами. Мне уже 79 лет, но вкус этих шанежек помню до сих пор. Вечная память дорогой и любимой бабушке, которая растила меня (моя мама умерла когда мне было 3 года). Вечная ей благодарность за любовь и тепло которым она меня согревала,

i can barely begin to express how wonderful and important your work is to this world...First of all, i guess ive never taken the time to explore russo-european culture/eastern european- not sure of the terminology here, im sorry,- but the food and folks are both amazingly approachable and fascinating to me! Through your videos, a brand new world has been shown me to fall in love with!Everything just looks delicious and the skill it must take to master the wood oven- oh i can't imagine- and these ladies make it look effortless!!!
