Hi guys, in today's video I will be building Bunta's Subaru Impreza from Initial D. This 1/24 model kit is made by FUJIMI. It is a rare kit but I was able to find it on eBay as they do pop up occasionally. However If you are into older Subaru Impreza kits then I would recommend Tamiya (they only have WRC models) or Hasegawa(They have stock form and WRC ones) since the kits they produce are better made with more details and high accuracy. This FUJIMI kit as usual, is very simple, and it lacks quite a bit of details. Parts aren't 100% accurate,(Hey it's a model car) but I still love the artwork on the box and I enjoyed putting this kit together. That is my third Initial D model car on the channel! Which Initial D car should I build next??

The Sileighty would be a great build. Also the team emperor's lancer evo 6 and the grey night kids' r32
Fun fact: Bunta's Impreza was originally grey, thats why when you see it in older Initial D Arcade Stage games its that sort of grey/silver color, while in newer games, the anime, and colorizations of the manga show it with that beautiful STi metallic blue

@@CaptainGanymede hate to say, it isn't in my opinion. FYI, every car in the manga is an online image with sketch filter(hint: The wheels don't ever turn)

@@mr.bruhexplains1538 My guy it's been a minute since I read the manga but you can look at the author's other manga to see that they've been doing incredible mechanical detail for a long time, he's probably using references but I doubt he's flat out tracing the shit

Thank you. I haven’t yet, I am still very new to model car building, there is a lot of cars I wanna build, I will definitely make a car with matte finish.

Thats not a 22B, is a Wrx Sti Coupe Type R GC8 with a custom 22B style front bumper

@@tobiasrenner3498 I didn’t know that also have you completed the hasegawa 4 door gc8 wrx as I’m going to take the sti parts from the fujimi kit and kit it on the hasegawa kit to replicate my wrx (it’s a 2000 gc8 wrx with the full sti body kit (wing, side skirts, rear spats and front lip)

Making Bunta's Impreza GC8 was a really bold choice. But a really cool one as well! For my suggestion, I suggest Takumi's AE86 Sprinter Trueno or maybe Sakamoto's Suzuki Cappuccino

Nice im trying to get initial D imprezza kit and a AE86.. Iv 2 redsuns kits Fc and FD iv also 2 Evos one is tamiya but im going to replicate white evo from initial D iv evo 3 with the emperor decals so yeah cool see this as a new post, 👍
