Rocky I love love your thyme plant. Thanks for sharing and can’t wait for August 7th !!! . I make the Sri Lankan dall where I add chunks of cabbage and tomatoes. I fry up the onions, turmeric, crack fennel , cumins, crush chilies, curry leaves, smashed garlic, dry whole chillies, diced carrots add the red lentils,salt , pepper of your liking and top up with some water all in that order and let it simmer for 4-5 minutes. The cabbage and tomatoes half way in. Very tasty with fish curry. Married to a Sri Lankan and love their food as well. God bless you guys

When you go chowkay the dhal in the oil put u geera,tomatoes n some onions n let it cook for a while and if you want put curry powder n throw it in the dhal yummy..i have been doing that for years now...as for fresh tomatoes in the duck its good too..
