When I hear the sound of this helicopter it reminds me of my youth when I was a parachutist and we jumped from these helicopters in Venezuela when this country was a democracy in the seventies and I will never forget the sound of these helicopter blades. some pleasant memories of this time.

When I heard the sound of the engine from the Bell UH1-d I got goose bumps, and a cold neck.It's really a pity that the Bundeswehr does not reprocess such unique machines. Or buy and use. The successor to the helicopter cannot be used as versatile as the good old Bell Uh1-d.

are they sure this was a D model? most Ds were converted to Hs in the late 70s. the Hueys that were built from the ground up as Hs have no physical differences from D's or converted Ds. the only difference was the engine.

Ich bin mir sicher das Vietnam ehr ein Alptraum für die Americunts war. Was mich auch freut.

Selbst die Motorradfahrer konnten dem unverwechselbaren Klang der Huey nicht widerstehen.

Habe mit einem Unfall im Kreuzungsbereich gerechnet, 😂

Fliegt der immer noch aktiv im Einsatz ?

Ja der fliegt noch aktiv wird aber bald ausgemustert und gegen einen Airbus helicopter getauscht

@@ffw71rb : Junge das kann nicht sein. Bin zwar nicht in Hamburg, aber das war die Hamburger "Anneliese". Und die fliegt schon lange nicht mehr, da sie durch alkoholisierte Kollegen abstürzte. Jetzt seht sie als Denkmal am Hamburger Bundeswehr Klinikum. Lies mal die Berichte über die Bell UH1-D als SAR 71.

Bruder schöne Wiese so ein habe ich auch im Garten und das beste einfach in den Wind geschossen eine Bell UH 1D und wird man bald nicht mehr sehen aber sonst viele Grüße an die schöne große Wiese und das nächste Mal machst besser
