Dier speaks Portuguese and listens to the coach's instructions, so for Jose, he is a must-pick. It sends a message to the others. You don't have to be fastest, most skilled. You have to have the best mind, and best attitude.

Yes a run to the champions league final but they flopped when they got there from the first minute of the game plus their league form was so bad to end 2018/19. The mentality of some of the players isn’t good enough when things get tough and the chips are down. Mourinho had more chance of winning the cup final last week than Mason

I love jose his an old school coach which still clearly works. He wants his players to work in training and on the pitch and he wants his players to do anything to win. Years ago that's the way football was played, now a days it's all about trying to look good but Jose won't play any players who isn't willing to be a cxxt. Look at man City last year. Winks going down and getting there players sent off was good and the way to he ie use your brain and get him sent off. I am a huge spurs fan, we may not win the league but we will definitely be top 4.

Taking them from 14th to 6th this season was one of the most amazing things mourhino has ever done - interesting that he motivates players by being completely transparent and holding them completely accountable with nothing held back. Very different from klopp who motivates with pure passion, love, energy, and support. Can't wait to see how next year turns out.

Yeah the more info leaked from either manager's past locker rooms only make that case further. Pep can't handle anyone with a big personality or ego as he barely handles his own squad that he likes to control every little aspect which I feel would get annoying. On the other hand Mourinho is the type of coach that players give it all for and he will stick by you through anything if you are attentive

I wanted him out at the end. Not because I didn't rate him, but because his philosophy didn't suit the club. By that I don't just mean our playing identity but chemistry with the owners too. To keep Jose happy, you have to spend money. His negativity in the last season sucked out all the passion in the team by the end.
