Ballistic Helmet 👎 Bump Helmet 👎 Baseball Hat and Ear Pro 👍

Think of the helmet more as a hardhat for construction. A lot of injuries on the battlefield happen from smacking your head not necessarily shrapnel or bullets so a bump helmet is good for that purpose. That being said if you have the money and are strong enough you might as well get used to something with a little bit of ballistic capability because at the end of the day we’re just playing with odds

A ballistic helmet might give you a saving throw, but feels like if you getting shot at in the upper body chances are you're in a situation where you're likely to die.

Ballistic helmets 🪖 protects users from shrapnel & specific bullets, while bump helmets for training, airsoft & recreational use.😂

Same here I’m with you both on that. I dont personally think he’s former LE but I wouldn’t be suprised at all if he was. I think he’s just a guy who has a passion for “fun” and maybe worked as a gunsmith somewhere reputable. 🤷🏾‍♂️. Could just know the owner😂😂

Ballistic high speed tested ballistic helmets, granted it was at point blank range but pretty much any rifle round goes through em. It'll protect from shrapnel, but don't expect to survive taking one to the dome. A bump will protect you from well... bumps and not much else

Needle trimmered. I think a basic ballistic helmet and work on setup. Then if you want to upgrade the helmet later....ok.

i use a team wendy SAR at work for our swift water/ tech recue helmet and i aboslutely love team wendy.

I've simply never been sufficiently impressed by ballistic helmet performance in tests - I don't see the cost justification.

Worked on the border fence project a few years ago, OSHA......as a guard I had me choice...bump or standard construction hard hat. Totally went bump.
