Bumblebee really made the Camaro an iconic car. In fact, Chevrolet stopped producing the Camaro in 2002, but because of the success of the first two films and Bumblebee's popularity, they restarted production in 2010, and sales doubled from their last run in 2002.

The "camaro" in the 1st transformers is actually a 2006 pontiac gto look it up.

That 74 camaro and Sean’s Monte Carlo from Tokyo drift are two of my all time favorite movie cars from when I was a kid. I was 7 when Tokyo drift came out, and still two of my favorites to this day

The monte carlo was my favorite out of all the cars in that film lmao. There's just something about an old, tricked-out car from the 70s wearing slicks and lathered in industrial primer that gets to me lol

Even though we don’t see much of it, the TF5 Camaro sounds the best to me. Even at slow speeds, it’s more satisfying than the TF2 one.

What he scanned was a 2006 Holden Monaro that was mocked up to look like the Chevy Camaro concept car. The Camaro wasnt in production till 2009, and the film was in 2007. The first transformers movie is a GM advertisement.
