Look at that smooth movement!
The second hand is the heart of this watch.
For what Amazon is now charging for this watch, I'd like to see a sapphire crystal. Otherwise, a very nice watch.
Nice looking watch, I really like these , unfortunately for my old eyes I don't get along with skeleton hands
It's a beautiful watch but isn't the dial a shade of grey rather then brown?
Love Bulova, sucks they don’t get as much hype as other brands. I love my precisionist!! Another great review and congrats on the new watch.

They are underappreciated for sure.

Did you have problems after battery changing?
I want one, too! How big is your wrist? I have a 7 in. wrist and my old Seiko is 40mm and is a good size for me. I think this watch would be a little too big for my wrist being it is 43 mm. I can't even find anywhere I could try it on in person.
How do you like your Xeric Trappist? Been thinking on pulling the trigger on one of their designs, maybe the Apollo 15.
What size wrist do you have?
would be interested into exact diameter, thickness and lug to lug dimensions before I got mine. But there are different specifications to be found in the internet, so I don't really know whats the size. Would you mind measure it for me? :)
really like this watch, how have you found it? Also do you happen to know the lug width? I can't find it anywhere....
Is this a dress watch or casual everyday watch?
Citizen acquired Bulova, it would be nice if they could integrate their eco-drive technology in a Precisionist.

Not something I've considered but I must say that I love the way you think.
I just got mine a few days ago! The sweep is hypnotic, and I too lusted after one for a while. My normal EDC is a tritium automatic but the Bulova Precisionist is beautiful. The band sucks and the lume is really pitiful but in every other respect it's a great watch. Give it tritium and sapphire and it would easily be a $400 watch.

How does your watch feel now?

Tritium in this watch would look bad , is supposed to be a somewhat dress watch
Jesus, that is really super 👌 how did a nitwit like me get so tasteful? Just wish Bulova would make the precisionist movement in smaller casings 38mm - 41mm, for smaller wrist like my 6½" wrist.
Great review!

Thank you, but only a quick look. I'll get some wrist time and really learn it before I do a full review.
nothing mentioned about strap, case, Lugs, size.
Looks really pretty.

So far, loving it. Wore it all weekend, and today.
Great watch hate the over-styled crown
So smooth! I got my dad the stainless steel braclet version, but not he wants to get a leather strap for it. I went ahead and added a card to my father's day gift guide to link to this video. Enjoy!

Good man
ordered it today
Problem is lack of sapphire crystal
Does it eat batteries to make the second hand sweep? My understanding is that is the reason quartz watches have a ticking second hand.

Nothing I've noticed thus far. Ask me again in a year. A coworker has had one for over a year so I asked him and it's still running.

Its self winding so you dont need batteries

@@yaboycade6749 this is a quartz watch not automatic. There are some quartz that charge the battery with a rotor but I don't believe this is one of them.

Yup yup. And for those interested, it's still running like a champ. Wore it last weekend to a spiffy dinner.
I may pick one up for the jail. I like to Wear a quartz watches when I work at the jail and not an automatic. I like the quartz when I’m doing watches so when I’m recording my times I synchronize it to the jail computer time and that way I know I am on track With my times.

Interesting thought on why to use it. Not something I would have considered. Thanks for sharing.
Sounds like Mr Roger’s!
Is it Bul-ova or Bula-va?

I have wanted one of those I didn’t realize the precision of line had thinner ones I thought you had to buy that giant chunky chronograph on an ugly metal bracelet
@JustaSecond

Yeah it's actually nicely thin.

Its not ugly at all.. Its perfect.. Its beautifull.... One of a kind.. The bracelet is heavy an thick.. Its unique.. The whole watch itself... I wear mine almost everyday.
4K video out of focus most of the time
