Kris before the SOUL was supposedly actually a prankster, so stepping off the switch maybe just like once would be actually in-character (probably)

@DETOXOLATE Kris talks off-camera, just like Frisk did, it's just for us their "dialogue" is shown only through the actions of the other characters. Heck, we don't even get to see Kris show their emotions, we only know that they laughed because someone else commented about it.

2:18 - 2:24 I can't take Kris's face seriously. Kris literally said no to Noelle and then Noelle joined anyways and Kris's expression had me on the floor when Kris looks right at us.

Also unlike us, the player who literally turns on the forcefield on her and she has to dodge to not get zapped, she always activates it before you actually step into the danger zone. So while the player may or may not have just made an attempt on her life she's actually pranking harmlessly.

I think it's possible it might be a reference to a story? I think the story comes from the Wayside books but it's been so long since I've read them. Basically for whatever reason the characters get access to drinks that are supposed to taste like them but its logic was that if you tasted your own it was just water because it's the taste you're used to tasting all the time. Funny logic, kinda sounds like it's just a cup of spit but I prefer to not think about that part but the taste was different based on how whoever drank it felt about the character the drink came from. Really just kind of felt like this tea thing was a direct take from that and I thought it was cool but I guess it's also possible for people to come up with the same ideas. It's kind of a weird niche story. Unless that story was also referencing maybe an older story in a similar way. Yadda yadda something something drink people

Honestly I think telling Noelle that you and Susie were hanging out in the closet together would have been more mean.

These two are surprisingly wholesome together, they make me smile so much! I hope we see more of these two again! Noelle, the Sister Kris never had, and Kris, the true Friend Noelle didn't get. I get the odd feeling that Kris would slaughter whoever dared to harm Noelle... or really any of their friends really.

Of all things I've seen from toby fox, Noelle has to be one of the most realistic feeling. Being able to playfully take digs at a friend and have them be able to play along feels almost like what hanging out with real life friends is like

i just realized, noelle is basically alphys, smart, nervous, most likey. lesbian, (well alphys is bi but yeah) and susie is basically just undyne, strong, mean, etc. maybe that's why noelle calls the trash area "nostalgic"

I've only played this game for like 2 days and the melodies are once again ingrained in my brain, toby fox you're a masterful composer

So in this part, is he fine with messing with Noelle, but REALLY doesn’t want to leave her behind there, and was scared of that actually happening?

Apparently Noelle has a humiliation kink... Because she got excited at the idea of being pushed to the ground and laughed at by Susie...

My guess is that Kris is fed up of us controling his life for him. He wants nothing to do with all of our friends and despises the fact that he has been aware all this time while we control his body and makes decisions for him. That is why in the ending were we finish the game, he yanks us out because he hated the fact the we used him as an avatar and tries to kill us with a knife since we are represented as a heart though out the game.
