Jordan was just a beast. That guy was such a cold blooded competitor. His competitiveness level hasn't been reached by any other athlete in sports. Who else can leave their sport for 18 months, come back and lead a team to a 3peat, the best record of all times 72-10 while leading the league in scoring at 33,34 and 35 years of age? MJ is the greatest athlete ever.

Older Jordan was like a super version of prime Carmelo on offense. He toyed with defenses primarily with the jump shoot. Whereas the young Jordan had a more balanced game of sheer athleticism and jumpshooting.

I went to a lot of raps game when I was a kid. Tickets costed 12$ at shoppers drug mart. I'm pretty sure I cried when I couldn't get a ticket to that game. I still envy you.

those fadeaways are crazy and the game winner at 6:35 was also a very difficult shot... i mean DAMN! and the commentators don't even talk about the degree of difficulty of these shots...M.J. forever...

Game winner when? They don't talk about him hogging the ball and many of the piss poor shooting decisions. His shot percentage was often weak.

The 96' season was just amazing. To go 72-10 during the regular season and make it look so effortless was something special. However, i do recall every team that year using us as a measuring stick to see how good they really were. Everyone seemed to play their best b-ball against us night in and night out. I remember they use to call our big 3....Superman,Batman,and Rodman, lol.

He can't help it, he idolizes the man in every way. He grew up watching him and said "I want to be just like this man," not just his game but personality as well. I mean when I was younger I imitated certain actors, characters, athletes but as an adult I want to be me, Kobe never grew out of that. I tell you what though, he's a good imitator! LOL I got the man almost down to a "T"

Fun fact: One of the 10 losses for the 72-10 Bulls (87-13 overall) was to the Toronto Raptors. Being under the superstitious tutelage of the Zen Master, the Bulls would ditch the black-red pinstripe uniforms for this game. 😂

Orlando Lewis I think his point is that Kobe doesn't deserve hate from MJ fans. Kobe and MJ are like best friends, and Kobe said MJ is his biggest mentor and he wants MJ to present him at the hall of fame. Of course Kobe isn't in MJs stratosphere as a player, but he's still a phenomenal talent that MJ fans should appreciate. He's one of the most exciting and skilled players ever. His highlights are incredibly fun to watch. MJ is the better player though, there's no debate about that

+LilFundemental jordan is a better mid range shooter, drives better, post better, has less turnovers, and played better defense so u can keep your half a percent more in 3's that he averaged..lol. 3's don't help u win it all by the way.. U not gona hit enough of them for it to be a factor against someone who is a scorer from everywhere

LilFundemental They're both phenomenal to watch! However, MJ's shot selection was better and he had those mitts, which he could do all kinds of show the ball fakes, which helped him out quite a bit. Kobe actually tried palming the ball a bit in 2002-03. Both players were a joy to watch! I miss them both.
