Bulls vs Hawks 1997 - Game 3 - Michael Jordan 21 points

Спорт

Behind 21 points from MJ and 17 from Pippen, the Bulls bounced back from the game two loss to beat the Hawks in game three, 100-80.
Both Jordan and Pippen hit eight of 20 shots.
Dennis Rodman, who was criticized for his lack of rebounding and his technical fouls, did not start and pulled down just three boards.
Jason Caffey, who started in Rodman's place, scored 10 points and pulled down 11 boards.
The Bulls' win gives them a 2-1 series lead.

Man, Marv Albert and Bob Costas knew how to set that table each and every game for the NBA on NBC

The first move/sequence by Jordan where he fakes a shot, spins away from the shot, and then hits an off-balance ouble-pump jumper is insane. As is the entire sequence from 4:20-4:24. He was unstoppable. He had all the moves.

What people forget about is in 1996 the Bulls won 72 games and in the next season they won 69 games and their last year together they won 62 games and Scottie pippen was injured for 36 games. Plus, they did this in the 90's.

I remember being grateful Atlanta had no depth; Bulls wore them down. Atlanta beat Chicago once during the season & another game was a one-pointer or OT Mookie's quickness always caused headaches & so did their length up front. Too bad Atlanta couldn't keep team together; Eastern Conference wide open after '98

this was cool, but shame there's no full games from this series on youtube. This was a better series than the ecf vs the heat.

@kareem87said5. Thats a CHampionship lineup right there. In any other era they probably play in a CONF Finals and maybe NBA FINALS, even win a Ring. But like many of the great teams of the 90s they had the misfortunes of being great at a time an invincible team was doing their dynasty.

We have Bison Dele and Jason Caffey sightings! RIP Brian WIlliams.... RIP Jason Caffey's money, all of which is going to child support. What an incredible team. I had always thought Williams put them over the top. Chicago would still have won the title if he signed with Utah but he could've made it more difficult.
