Bullet For My Valentine 2018 Tour Gear Breakdown plus Interview with Matt and Padge

For two decades, Welsh quartet, Bullet for My Valentine has successfully mixed punk-infused metal, thrash and even some pop sensibilities to create some of the most melodic, metallic, dark rock songs of the new millennium. With their new album 'Gravity' dropping last month Guitar Interactive Magazine editor, Jonathan Graham sat down with BFMV's Matt Tuck and Michael Paget ahead of the release to discuss the writing and recording of the record, the band's plans for 2018 and we take a look at the pair's current live rig.

So happy to see the Jackson guitar, Bullet For My Valentine really inspired me to pick up the guitar and after playing on a standard model for a few years I bought my first own guitar, which was a Jackson guitar just like Matt has, but a more affordable version. Have always loved the design of that guitar and it's great for playing hardrock/metal. Took me a long time to get used to the shape tough, especially while sitting down

The Digitech drop pedal is the best thing I ever purchased, doesn't affect your tone at all and you get a clear crisp signal especially with big tube heads

I wonder why they use a drop pedal when the Kemper has a drop tune effect too. I used to use 6 different guitars all tuned different until I got a Kemper. Now I only need 2. 😂

Jackson used to issue all his guitars back then with the golden logo, nowadays it's just for custom guitars, which are overly more expensive and harder to get.
