Brought it and broke the second time I went fishing Got a hybrid but the way they broke, make this rod look like a joke. Caught the hybrid and cast out a couple of times. Jerking the bait along the way and the rod snap in two. Pathetic. As for warranty! Life time warranty! BUT! you are required to cover both shipping. The rod they will ship to you and the one that is broken. Shipping for The new rod is already 30 (if its only a defect, So plus another 45 if it's your fault), plus the one that was broken needed to be ship back too another 56.87(cus I used the original container) Total:$86.87 (for defect) or $131.87 (user errors) Banshee: $169.99 Almost as much as buying a new rod. Bull bay should cover everything if it's a defect or pay shipping for the new rod. I like the lifetime warranty but I do not want to use it because of defects. For a warranty like that should say a lot about their product but this happen. Sigh. . . $ $ $ evertime. I think my was a defect and I used this rod like two times only. I say not worth it. Could have brought a great $300 if this kind of money.

Just so I got the facts right , you used it 2 times , broke rod and never got a replacement? And never tried to give that replacement a fair shot ? ( if correct you really should give the replacement a fair chance ) I personally always give products 3 strikes before bailing Unfortunately everything and anything human made WILL NEVER be perfect. Meaning tvs , cars , Fishing rods , refrigerators and so on COULD / CAN break the first time using it even after using it a few times. That's why it's called defective. You could go buy a st croix , Penn , daiwa of any other rod and have the same experience. Unfortunately it's the bad luck of the draw. For example I used st croix legend xterems and avids for years. The xterems are $700 ish rods and avids are $300 ish rods and had nothing but issues after issues. Guides falling off , handles coming lose , rod butts breaking in rod holders and the list goes on and on. And st Croix charges $120 ish ( at least when I had them ) each time you have an issue with a Xtreme and $80 each time you had an issue with the avids. Plus shipping too. BUT ST CROIX DONT OVER LIFETIME WARRANTY. Only a few years Just about every good manufacturer does this few years of warranty coverage and fees. Once those few years are over . You're out of luck and have to buy a brand new rod at full retail. I'll take a lifetime warranty over years any day. Now to the experiences I have had with bull bay. I also had a banshee snap on me while fishing. But it didn't cost me anywhere close to what your prices are. ( Btw where did you get those prices for shipping and such ? ) Got the replacement and haven't had one issue with it since I got it. Wish you would get the replacement and give it a fair 2nd chance. For me I've used Penn , daiwa , st croix , star , off brand and so many more rods. And for me , the money and what you get with bull bay , it Trump's all the rest I've used 10 Fold. I appreciate your feedback btw. I know everyone not going to have the same experiences. Every product has their pros and cons. Tight lines

It would depend what you're throwing , how heavy you're throwing and what size fish you are targeting
