Bulacan's New Manila International Airport Update : Reclamation & Land Development Work 42% Complete

Reclamation and land development of the New Manila International Airport in Bulacan is currently 42% complete, and is projected to be completed by next year.
According to the Department of Transportation, San Miguel Aerocity Incorporated plans to complete the development work of the 1,693-hectare site by the end of 2024 and then immediately start the airport construction on first quarter of 2025, with the aim of having the new international airport operational by 2027.
The New Manila International Airport or NMIA will be the biggest airport in the Philippines, once completed; with passengers capacity of 35 million annually only for it’s first phase.
NMIA hopes to draw in foreign direct investments, expand trade operations in Central Luzon, and generate more than one million jobs for Filipinos.

So it is true that this is Reclamation land for the New Manila International Airport, a 2,565 hectares Reclamation site in the Bulakan. Because Ramon Ang denied it, so he lied about everything to avoid the DENR. The San Miguel Corporation (SMC) president and CEO Ramon Ang said it last Friday, August 11, 2023 that the New Manila International Airport (NMIA) in Bulacan is not built on Reclaimed land, or the construction of the new airport is not on Reclaimed land. The latest news is that the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) said that all 22 major land reclamation projects in Manila Bay have been suspended, pending a review of their environmental and social impacts. #DENR #abscbnnews #gmanews #rappler
