He's scored almost all penalties, if not all since then. He's moved past it and so have we. But the way he stepped up today... everyone knew he was going to score. Darren Fletcher even said "Saka doesn't miss!" Before taking it.

I was thinking he wasn’t as effective today, but it’s because he’s set the bar so high that anything short of an 8 or 9 performance seems like an off day. He’s a beast, plays almost every minute and he even got injured or ill recently but just came right back and played 120’ and scored a good pen as well.

Only the talent and charm of Bukayo would get Jamie in an Arsenal shirt

How many years is it since the Euro? 4 years? Time to get over it. If he is still scared to take penalties so long after, then something is wrong. Of course he should step up. He is their usual penalty taker and has taken plenty of penalties. Odegaard took the responsibility and the first penalty which is the worst to take cause if you miss the first you are behind immediately.

A dishonest or a dense Arsenal fan would write such a thing. A person with any level of objectivity can see that he came up against a proper full back and was absolutely, categorically pocketed over two legs. Stop hyping this man up like he's the second coming. He's a good player, no doubt. But you have to be able to call him out when he doesn't deliver. If not for an opportunity at a penalty, this man would have been a major reason as to why you lost. He did next to nothing over 210 minutes of football. The penalty spared his blushes.

Thierry's setup for that tactical question was brilliant

I remember the big Aubameyang interview with Henry a few seasons ago, and how it filled me with hope and expectation, only to almost immediately turn sour. Every interview that Saka does, is 100X more genuine and 100X more inspiring. We are very fortunate to have this bright light of football in our fold, and he should never be taken for granted.

Saka is that young person at work pretending to laugh with the olders when they make jokes🤣
