Carwow is so much better than Hoonigan lately because they actually show quarter/half mile & 0-60 times, they don't script races, and they do rolling, standing and brake tests to really satisfy the results. They know what the viewer wants.

They are so invested in getting close finishes that the point of racing is lost. The point of racing is to see who is faster. If one person gets weird advantages then it doesn't matter who is faster! I really wish they would choose race types that favor the underdog rather than making the playing field uneven. change the race length, do a roll start or something but keep it the same between racers.

Blame it on me being clueless, but I just learned that they laid off Suppy and the entire shop staff. So basically, all that's left is this group of moderately charismatic hosts. Occured to me that they probably don't even have the Burnyard anymore. I can only watch so many meme drag races before the concept is played. I love what they did in the past, but maybe the Hoonigan experiment has run its course.

But also, I'm not just gonna keep watching because of what they did in the past. I thought maybe they could bring in Pastrana or someone to take that role, but Ken was more than just a world-class stunt driver. He was a marketing genius who understood innately what the audience wanted to see.

I don’t think Ken was that involved in Hoonigan maybe like 20%? he was more focus on Hoonigan Racing. They are the same company but different focus. Ron gave a good explanation on Reddit on Suppy and dan departure. Agreed on this vs that feels like they are just beating a dead horse at this time. At least the off road version is good. Just wish they would stop doing the one on one build break downs.

You're wrong. How you couldn't hear the boost already built up before him setting off is insane. When you see it blowing all that black smoke 30 feet into the air, then it's on boost. No boost lag, guy did nothing wrong. He let off on both the first and third match. Second one he didn't see the hand drop. Compound turbo setup, that thing builds boost very fast. so no boost lag here. Not that I saw anyway. He was on boost before the hand drop all three times.

Even tho the McLaren won 2/3, still goin for the ram
