Built-Up Barn Find! Project Traxxas TRX-4 Lifted Ford Bronco Gets A Patina Make-Over | RC Driver
Our Project Traxxas TRX-4 Lifted Bronco build has been sitting patiently waiting for the make-over we said we were going to do way back when we ran the series. We had a clear body and all of the scale detail parts ready for a follow up video and well, we kinda forgot about it. Out of sight, out of mind. But luckily, our new friend, RC Patina Guy reached out to collaborate on a project and it reminded us of that gem we had hidden away. We dug out the body set and sent it off for a Barn Find make-over. Since our TRX4 was built up with some modern touches, we’re calling this a Resto-Mod Barn find. This is a fun video that shows you the kind of scale modeling you can do in RC. Or if you don’t have the time, you can find pros out there to help. We’ll show you this amazing body up close and even take it out for a drive!

The amount of talent that guy has is incredible. That's about how most of these old full size Broncos ended up. Which BTW is the BEST body style by far (excluding the first gens obviously)

Awesome, I love how much detail there is. The rust holes in the body (I like to call weight reduction) looks so realistic. Great job Patina Guy!
I wouldn’t put bright white LEDs in the headlamp, I would put some kind of yellowish amber color or something to make it look more antique. But definitely for the headlights no bright LEDs maybe on a light bar on the top as an add-on

Love this! Just picked up a TRX4 and bought some parts for it! What an addicting hobby! Glad to see people are still doing TRX4 stuff! I know the "norm" is to follow the newest and hottest stuff normally. Although I love seeing continued work on popular vehicles and also throw backs to the OLD days of RC! Like restomoding the old stuff I remember from being a kid... When Radio Shack sold actual hobby grade RCs 🤣... That's probably dating myself huh? Keep up the great work! Oh, that Bronco is AMAZING! The attention to detail used blows my mind. It's on the level of professional plastic model builders BUT you can drive it!

The sport clear SUV body
A fantastic job on the body I am going to do the same to the Pro-Line 1967 Ford F100 body for my UDR to give it the old school Pre-Runner look more pre-runner than Trophy Truck with the stock body. One question was the rear canopy fibreglass if so should not have rust on it apart from stained round the fixing bolt's etc, but this certainly does not detract from the overall finish of this body. I know mine will not be as good by half I admire anyone who puts the time and effort to create such a masterpiece.
