As a child & teenager I was repeatedly called by my step-mother, her favorite words; bastard & prostitute. For many years I didn’t know what the words meant just knew it was bad. In my freshman year, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and learned my true identity as a child of God. This episode reiterated the scriptures which declare my true identity. I continue till this day to take therapy for all the horrific childhood traumas I lived. I feel that the word dysfunction doesn’t encompass all the damage caused to my siblings and I. Preston, it is admirable for you and your wife to have adopted Maxon. I commend you and your wife for such a courageous action, And for your loving hearts. Thank you for sharing everything you feel the Lord gives you with us. I love the leaders cut.

The spirit of jealousy and Jezebel was upon her very similar to that of my own stepmother who did everything she did to destroy me, BUT GOD 🙏🏻❤️ I pray for restoration in your mind, heart, soul, & spirit from our Heavenly Father! He is the healer that we need and I am so sorry you went through those experiences but know He is so much greater which is why His beautiful light in you bothered her so much!

I needed to hear this. The way I'm crying right now. Tears of relief and happiness and positively overwhelmed. I know who I am. And I am a Child of God! His Son. His heir. His co-heir!

The enemy keeps repeating to me that I’m too old to have a husband and children and sometimes I do believe this lie…at times I want to give up believing that the Lord will answer my prayers..thanks Preston for the reminder on who I am.

I like that you were saying words of affirmation but with the word of God and not from your own words because some of us would probably not believe the things you were saying, but when you add scripture, it makes a difference because it's from God (2 Timothy 3:16). Thank you for the reminder. I don't have instragram or I'd drop a message. I think it's hard to see therfore impossible to do. I think I've held on as long as I can to the hope of being more. Maybe the peace comes when I stop trying to do anything. Maybe average is okay as long as it's not so I can live in sin. I have watched intently since day one. By no means am I saying things are not better internal but by far worse external. I just wanted to help people. Somehow this started a great chase to nothing. So please 🙏 know how grateful I am for you. I have to leave this chase alone. It's rabbit trails and trials. I believe God loves me. I don't think whatever I thought I saw was real. A picture or dream whatever it wasn't real. I'm notorious for using my mind to hide from truth. At least this stop has a level of love o don't normally receive from people.
