A nice change-up from military models! I've actually learned a lot about figure painting techniques from a couple of friends that are heavily into 40k 👍. The models do indeed seem to be very builder friendly! 🤩 Give Buster a nice pat & a scratch for all of us! 🐈

Adeptus Mechanicus are so badass! It was my first Warhammer: 40K miniatures aswell. Keep em coming QDC! Its easy to get lost in all that is 40K but just soldier on and it will make sense eventually

Got into Warhammer 40k myself around 1 month ago, decided to go with Space marines, the Black templars. If you want to understand the Warhammer 40k universe and what is actually going on, it's quite the iceberg of lore, then I recommend Luetin09 and his playlist called "Warhammer 40,00 Lore/history in order". The videos are a tad long sometimes but they are really great if you have the time to listen, while building/paiting in my case. Regarding the decals, they are a bit special in that the ones that come with the kit is not design for that kit only, these are usually "Transfer Sheets" meaning that both larger or smaller decals come with it if you have something you want in your Adeptus Mechanicus army, a tank for example. Great build! Looking forward to the next kit! :)

Nice to see something different from you. I have collected Warhammer 40k on and off and other associated models for a long long time. It's definitely a slightly different way of painting than scale modelling, but there is plenty cross over.

I hope you get into the U.C. gundam universe era. Like Zaku II, gm, RX-79 ball, zeta gundam, etc.

Adeptus mechanicus! That's a neat choice Colin! Warhammer 40k is loaded with tons of lore for every faction, i really enjoy it and if you are interested to learn i will recoment you to follow Luetin09, he has a whole series dedicated to almost every wh40k faction and major event. About the decals now, the only thing i know is that the cog and skull is the mechanicus symbol. Great job done overall, i would only advice you to do something with the base (like terrain features etc) it will make the look more complete. It was very good of Buster to carefully inspect the sprues and the instructions, plus your wooden pointer, to make sure it was safe for you to assemble and use.. He even checked if the model was edible, very clever.. :) And your model of the Manically Adopted Stridefooter (that's correct, isn't it?) 😉turned out very good indeed!! :)

Hi, you said this model is in no scale, but actually the model is in 1:64 scale (+- 28mm heroic scale) 🙂.

Trying something different. Very cool brother. Don't ever stop building. I use silly putty too for some masking. It is not that expensive and you can keep using it over and over again.

Very nice build as always. Your cat is awesome. He always makes me laugh. I also have two female cats. I keep switching back and forth between WWII and Warhammer to avoid burnout on one of the themes :) …but Games Workshop models are getting more and more expensive everyday. In my 'Modelism' playlist, here on KZread a have a couple of old showcase videos with a couple of warhammer models. Nothing extraordinary but take a look if you want. Cheers!

You might want to check out imperial guard units. It’s based on WWI trench warfare. Krieg looks like French soldiers from Verdon. The armor takes its cues from those original British tanks.
