Welcome to the world of dragon....kits that are over-engineered and instructions which are hard to follow which are a cause for frustration. However, they do end up looking pretty good once you're able to work your way through these issues. You've done a great job so far and the halftrack is looking mighty fine, DD. I saw this in my local modelling shop,and I thought this was an interesting kit,also as it has all those parts and figures.However,I did not pick this up (I probably should have),but after this video,I have some ideas for a future projects! Thanks for showing what you done on this and how it is built!

I have had a couple Dragon kits on the shelf back in the day. Luckily my house burnt to the ground and saved me all that ripping of parts.

Great piece of work mate 😅 I’m building a new Dragon Sd.Kfz.7/1 and Sd.Kfz.7/2 kit with the armoured cabins at the moment and the instructions are a bit of a headache, and you really need to check and recheck everything especially the build sequence. The kit you are doing looks more like a Trumpeter kit with the use of the vinyl tyres and the changing of the fender edges from what I’ve seen on KZread previously? Looking forward to seeing your next build steps ❤😊

I've just about finished building this kit and I did not enjoy the experience at all. It makes a full early variant but the additional parts don't provide enough pieces to make the later variant that it say it does on the box. The photo etch is designed for the early variant not the late version for example. If Das Werk are just reboxing Dragon kits, I doubt that I'll be building any more of them. I wish Tamiya would re release their Famo kit.
