Great build! I've been adding modeling clay inside the hulls of my builds to add weight. It makes the models feel more solid and also keeps them in place better if mounted on dioramas at an angle.

Hi Andy, I would just like to say that you have done a great job of the M51. I have got this kit in my stash to FINISH but have had a problem with it, I dropped the muzzle brake on the floor and promptly stood on it. I ordered a up-date set for the M51 but was not happy with the size of the M/B it seemed a little on the small side, but seeing your build I must get it out and finish the project. I will also subscribe to your site. Happy Modelling from Australia, Les

I've watched several of your videos. It's really amazing what can be done with plastic, glue, paint and some crafty skills. The quality of your end result is just top notch. I enjoyed the classical music and you have also done a great job filming and adding commentary when necessary. I built lot of models when I was young, then would blow them up with fire crackers or something crazy like that. Too bad you don't have a website to sell your kits on line, I'd certainly support you.

I have a question, I see you using this glue in your videos. From my use of glues like this is the past they do not fuse the pieces in place very well and the model looses parts off of it. How does this brand work? I mean does it hold them tight bond them tight so that tomorrow the part does not fall off? My best luck has come with the Testers liquid cement that comes in the little funny shaped black bottle with the orange label. But it can be messy at times. How does this compare with the glue in this video? Thanks Much Tom

was1069 I prefer tamiya CA glue, most common type. Probably the one he is using. I find it is really easy to use, and dries in 10 seconds on larger parts. Only issue is parts have to be fully touching throughout the process or it will get gunky and fall off
