I don’t have the sizing chart, but the epic shorts do run a little larger and are more rectangular than boxie

If you're wondering what his shirt design is inspired by, search "Dep Gel 80's." Dep Gel was a real popular hair gel from the 80's.

@Fishheadmandible I miss how they used to smell! The pink gel was the standard hold and the yellow was the strongest one. I used the green which had the lightest hold just to get my hair in place, then I would hit it with Aqua Net lol.

This is probably the best stocked BMX specific shop I've ever seen. It's funny that Phu keeps saying that he doesn't know everything when it's obvious he knows his stuff. The name of the shop speaks for itself. Need to pay a visit to check it out myself.

It’s simply amazing. I always feel like a kid in a toy store :)
Love watching Phu in the shop. The real deal :D . Can we get Phu to do a trick a week outside the shop? I really want to see him ride.
Man I wish my local shop was that full of parts... I'm a sucker for shiny new stuff right now..
I'm not going to lie. I assumed most of my performance was based on my athleticism, but knowing about the parts I'm buying really helps with the type of riding I want to accomplish. Also want to add, I been around for a minute watching bmx videos since 2014. So, thank you for your content.

Alfredo Mancuso The BMX Videos you do are brilliant 😎 I have been watching for a while now 😉 But you Alfredo are the man for BMX 🤙🏻 Luke from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪
I just started watching these videos but I can tell right away Phu loves his audience, has fun making the videos and uses simple termanlogy…err termitonally,,,,WORDS, he uses simple words to describe it to us without all the specs. Love it.
Question: when would you want left hand drive setup? Eg. I grind right side, spin left and ride right foot forward. So what takes priority, my foot forward or protecting my sprocket/chain? Does riding a LHD as a right foot forward effect you that much even?
Hey im 37 years old a dad. I played bmx when I was way younger but now after watching most of your video make me wanna take my Haro forum 2008 from the garage now coz my whole body is itching. And Epic Bmx u guys are the best!

Actually good sir everything you said made perfect sense and none of it was opinion. Its science. You a physics genius and dont even realize it.
Alfredo, Phu, Ethan and the rest of the staff, I love your content. I could watch you guys rant on all day. You are very knowledgeable. I am 36 yo and just getting into bmx. I am to scared to do any of the tricks, but I love to ride my bike around town. I have a FitBike Series One complete that I have been modifying(last bike in my local shop). So these videos help me to pick out the correct parts for the right reason other than just aesthetics. Thanks for all you do.

I can see how passionate you are about bmx, i wish we had shop like that here.
Great explanation, Phu needs a channel of his own... just doing tech, I dont ride BMX but street trials, we ride 24" 26" rim wheels and by far the strongest is the three cross pattern
Great video very informative.👌 Shoutouts from the Philippines..

Phu, what size frame would you recommend for someone 6'1" 175 lbs? Everyone says 21" TT but I would like to hear what your recommendation is. If you could include all the measurements, stand over, BB hight, TT length, chain stay length. etc.... Thanks! Going to ride park and street some dirt. A little more stable than twitchy.
I love these type of videos. I watch every single one.
Epic is the best bmx bike shop in OC in my opinion. All he's talking about makes sense now, makes me want to start riding again.👍

Phu is dope! Love these epic vids!
Do you think a sleeper frame w a 33mm pitchfork would be a good all around bike? I ride a cult crew now but I’m looking for more stand over and the 5” head tube. I ride park street, bowls and a little pump track.
Right on Mancuso!

I used to have those Hoffman bars back in the mid 90's. They were advertised as Haro Knee Savers and it did come in handy when riding street.

@Alfredo Mancuso How about a video of Phu riding? I think that could be a pretty cool vlog.
question: What do u think about the new flybikes magneto hub system ?
For a 26in big bike would you recommend 165 cranks to get that snappy feel or what to you think works best at that size
You should check offer up let go Craig’slist and eBay for the frame
Best setup for beginner? Any tips for finding a good bike?
I need those hoffman bars, do ya still have them?
Hey boys by any chance that white haro seat behind phu still available? I could really use that seat
Love it! People misspelling his name!!
What kind of grips are those neon orange ones? Second row from the top and farthest to the right?
Hey where is your bikeshop called and where is it at ?
I use my Soundwave frame for everything. And it 21.5.

My dudes I have just got black 2 gen ramp room love handles 🤯❤️👍🏻 there patina is exactly the same as my black 03 pro team condor, it’s 43 lbs , some day I have to get it down to y’all for the 40 lbs bike check 😊
I feel like one day bro was prob sitting at home and Alex walked up as a little kid with his helmet on his little baby head and was like “DAAAAD 😢😢 I BROKE MY CHAIN ON MY BIIIIKE….. could you please fix my bike?” And I bet he was like “yes son I’ve been waiting for this day. Our destiny awaits, come on let’s go out to the garage” And that’s how it all came together. He fixed Alex’s chain, Alex got mad good at bmx and kept breaking things so his dad kept fixing them and he good at fixing things already and got even better. Now he’s got a bike shop and repair business and Alex has bike sponsorships 😂 That’s gotta be a proud dad right there. Probably never saw this coming. Your life at the shop is the definition of the American dream
I freakin love it. Cant get enough. Haaaaa
I was worried a 20.75 top tube was too big for me. I'm 5'8. I enjoyed the video and hearing the explanation behind things instead of just a simple answer because I don't always understand things when they're put simply. I have to hear a why or how also.
Any tips to buying a bike 20” for a newbie for a big guy ?
is a 18.7" top tube too short for a flatland bike when im 5'5
nice !
Phu seems cool🔥
Im 6’1 need help i have a 20.5 top tube feels to small i have a 50mm topload stem with 10 inch shadow vultus bars
I'm watching from Hungary - kinda far :) but I love you guys. You make such a great videos - learn a lot from these. Love Phu Vu how-to / I-tell-you-guys :D videos. I'm gonna buy my first bike - don't know what kind of, what size, what type....you guys give us a lot with these videos. Thanks.
More long videos phu is awesome at explaining everything
Yo mr. expert, I want to ask something. I just started bmx last week, bought my first bike WTP justice 2018 20” (12kg) all std. w/ a height of 5’2 is it too big/heavy for me? as a beginner. Thinking the handle bar might be too wide for me idk.
Damn I’m a little late to this video, just getting back into it but what if I wanted to do more street but want to ride trails to sheep hills and hb wet lands what I used to ride back in the day eventually want to hit those again but want to hit parks as well
This stuff is true guys pay attention I made a mistake with buying a really short back end at 12.4 and I wasn't good at all for even airing a pyramid at the skatpark
Learn me something Phu! I am about to build up a new ride.
Well phu I think you should do a custom bike and sell it in the shop
