Building the Middle - Craig Groeschel Leadership Podcast

As your organization grows, the levels of management you’ll need will change, too. Adding the right middle managers added at the right time can be the difference between a good organization and a great one. But adding the wrong middle manager is the fastest way to frustrate your team, cloud your mission, pollute your culture and drive away your best talent! In this episode, Craig Groeschel will show you why middle management is so important to a growing organization with more levels of management, and how to identify and deal with toxic leaders.

I SO agree with you about the philosophy of keeping middle management to a minimum. It's been dead weight in every organization I've been in.

Thank you Craig!!! Really learnt a lot. So how can one help a toxic leader in an organisation especially when the damage is beyond repair. Without resulting terminating the appointment.

I know that in a family the man is supposed to be the leader of the family, specially spiritually, in my situation I'm the only Christian one, my kids are learning how to fill my example, however my significant other believes in God but is not devoted to Him This breaks my heart I keep praying for God to change his heart and draw him close to Jesus. What else can I do?

Honor your husband by obeying him...as long as he's not telling you something that contradicts God's Word. This might be difficult to do, but it is how God tells wives to live with their husbands...saved or unsaved. Lastly, keep praying for him...only God can change his heart.

Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, when they see your respectful and pure conduct. Do not let your adorning be external - the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear - but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious. 1 Peter 3:1-4

"Without counsel, plans go awry, But in the multitude of counselors they are established." (Proverbs 15:22) I'm not sure why Craig Groeschel is telling his audience that this is not the best way...God says it is.
