Welcome back to Raft! Raft is a game where you survive the harsh life of being stuck on a raft in the middle of the ocean! Gather debris from the water in order to craft equipment necessary for your survival. Watch more Raft: bit.ly/MoreRaft

Trapped on a small raft with nothing but a hook made of old plastic, players awake on a vast,
blue ocean totally alone and with no land in sight! With a dry throat and an empty stomach,
survival will not be easy!
Raft throws you and your friends into an epic adventure out on the big open sea, with the
objective to stay alive, gather resources and build yourself a floating home worthy of
survival.
Resources are tough to come by at sea: Players will have to make sure to catch whatever debris floats by using their trusty hook and when possible, scavenge the reefs beneath the waves and the islands above.
However, thirst and hunger is not the only danger in the ocean… watch out for the man-
eating shark determined to end your voyage!

When you make a raft this big, you can use graph paper to help plan out what you want to do. I use this technique in the Sims.

I'm Guilty. I used Excel to plan out a mid 1800s fort which I built in Raft. Had barracks, a trading post, quartermaster shed, armory, dining hall, stables, captain's cabin, HQ/Admin building, etc. Even arrow slits and cutaways for cannons on the risers surrounding the castle like walls. I wonder if there is a real life application for this type of thing?
I'd live in a cool raft city like this irl if it was sea worthy enough to actually stay at sea/withstand or navigate around storms.

I’d love to see a team based city build with each person building their own group of buildings for their own purposes and styles minus the communal work areas.
If a survivor comes across your raft they are gonna move in for sure.

This is my favorite raft video
Okay, now come back to this one and expand. Make it a multi level tree house thing. Some stilt houses leading to each other, floor house roofs leading to stilt houses, many small hiding spots that one can hide beds and make mini homes. Like an elaborate tree house fort at sea. The stilt houses would keep the ocean from over taking the houses in the storms like it did with the floor houses.

FOr that empty bit you ca put like a little shed, a viewing area for the sunset, a little park spot where people can just enjoy the sun I guess?, or a place for deporting stuff like food and materials ect. just for decoration. It would be as if there are other boats who come and pick up shipments to go to other places? Those are my thoughts!

Idk if u knew this but the smaller the raft the lest the waves will flood it, if u make some holes in it, or have just a bunch of different rafts, they wount seperate, i bring the last two up 'cuase it will help
