There is a setting to turn off the upgrade animation, if you don't like it. According to Shadowfrax it still upgrades instantly for enemies and stuff and doesn't actually take any longer for the effects of the upgrade to take effect.

Car Speed based on weight of parts, type of engine and engine parts, your first try was a 2 section car base with cab/engine and cargo, could have taken off cargo section and added 2nd engine would have worked fine, 2nd try was armored cockpit and added weight, love the video/idea

Sure you've been told this but the upgrade time hasn't changed, its a client side animation only and you can turn off in settings

The guys waiting in your base were the ones you killed at cargo! Also, when you honeycomb the roof, if you add ramps in there it's even more expensive

New building animations can be disabled in the Options Menu in the Physics section by turning off Creation Effects.

I have a great idea next time build a ramp with the car but put a bunch of c4 in the car and remote control it to destroy there base

I don't think cheeky even begins to cover it, lol.

The upgrade Animation is visual only. u can turn it off in the settings but the upgrades is seen immediately server side.

I would totally fill their base up with like 50 cars. make their compound a car junkjard!

It might of been a bunker, and when you destroyed that twig roof it closed the wall up maybe. Either that or a pixel gap pass through somewhere. Or they broke the drop box. Looks like a custom design either way. Or they die against the wall outside, and pass through with their body possibly if they have a bag inside.

Stability bunker Core: Sebby watch Gamelightz bunker video. The bunker probably uses a twig roof to open the side wall. This requires one of the roofs to be offset to allow the roof mechanic to open the wall.

I think "stability" was the wrong word. This is probably what they call a "conditional" bunker that takes advantage of how walls can change their shape when a roof slope is placed alongside them. There was a twig roof slope before you raided, and breaking it caused the wall to close.
