I know this is a year old, but it hasn't gotten any better and I don't understand why. I started riding DJs back in 2008 with a specialized P1 that cost me like $600. Literally every company was making multiple DJs at every price point and it seemed like it was getting bigger than BMX. NS dropped the Majesty, Dobermann had the Pinscher and slopestyle was getting huge as well. Then it just stopped out of nowhere... I didn't keep up with stuff online and came back to Pinkbike being dead and DJs being more of a specialty item that are pretty expensive. Can anyone tell me what the hell happened?!

Wow, over $600. I just got a 2019 WTP reason without wheels for $150

I actually just got that frame last week from that website. Pretty nice frame for the price. Bought a used Haro off craigslist for 100 bucks and used those parts. All new bearings. Rides great.

Some of the value is also in putting it all together, like a puzzle or project. Getting more knowledge and experience etc

I bought my first bike not to long ago.. 2020 fit trl. So far I love it im an experienced dirt bike racers so the bmx is great for the week days

I haven't ridden in 10 years. I still have a MacNeil Deuce Deuce (22") frame in my garage, but probably a lot heavier than todays bikes and has the old school American Bottom Bracket size.

Got an 11 year old that wants a BMX, I'm 35 and when I was in school Skate boarding and BMX was all the rage we just had Tony Hawks pro skater and Matt Hofmans BMX on whatever version of playstation it was back then, I got into skateboarding and BMX a bit but could never really get into it properly as I never had my own stuff as my parents couldn't afford it or thought it was a stupid fad not to waste money on, either way fast forward now getting my kid a BMX for christmas and how can I not get myself a bike too right!? so gonna grab me something at some point I've got to show him how it's done after all right? 🤣 Bring on the broken bones lol. Either way thanks for your content and trick guides I hope to have fun in the new year giving it a shot. Getting my kid a Haro 2021 Leucadia DLX Bike Matte Black "20 with a 20.5" top bar, he's only 4ft5 (137.16cm) but I think he'll be having a bit of a growth spurt soon. Do you think that will be a good choice for first bike? not too expensive and it has a gyro and brakes so while he's getting used to riding I ain't gotta worry about him rolling out into traffic lol.

In Mexico you can have a solid build for like 5000 pesos, which is like 250 or 300 dollars. There are more options for cheap bikes here

Bmx Sasa IT IS INSANE!!! i love it so much and it rides incredibly. i got the new 2021 blue one and i gotta say it’s a strong strong blue. it looks sick tho. it rides super clean, has a lot of nice oddesy parts, and is very comfortable to ride as well as fun to ride. i definitely recommend it.
