Finally someone has made a video that explains this properly. I've spent a lot of time on the Armortek forum and there always seems to be some confusion about how to set these German tanks torsion bars on these kits, this was a great help!

I would personally prime the parts before installing them , I'm not criticizing, it's just my personal procedure, some of the parts will be very hard to access in the later stages of the build and you might have areas without protection to the elements and corrosion

Maybe some steel pieces. The tank is 99% aluminum. Look at Armortek company models that are 20 years old without a drop of paint they have zero corrosion.

@@brianostlind9662 saw some guy on the forum complaining his rusted up in the garage, an older model probably, nowadays I see they're making them full aluminium

These look great until you factor in what these cost. The price is just insane and how they can justify that for a small metal box I just cannot understand. I'm not surprised they sell so few of these. It really is criminal

The cost of the materials in the kit is quite low compared to the overall retail value, but it’s hardly criminal considering they are the only manufacturer in the market and most of the kits are limited edition with some models selling out before they are even released.

@@brianostlind9662 it's all subjective. It's a metal box with some servos. Bit yeah. Thats maybe hyperbole.

@@brianostlind9662 anyone with a lathe and basic casting skills could. It's a captive market. In this country they cost 6,500. That's about 9000 dollars. I've got a casa ssr scuderia 50bhp engine made with custom cases for that. I guess stupid is as stupid does. Have fun.
