Building Terrain For My Lego Medieval Blacksmith Diorama MOC

Week 1 of creating a diorama for the Lego Medieval Blacksmith set, I think this beautifully designed set deserves a dedicated diorama. I aim to create a rural and hilly setting for this diorama, enjoy!

  • @1by1Brick

    @1by1Brick

    4 ай бұрын

    I really wanted to do it, but decided not to because when I do these dioramas I want to add my own elements to it rather than just doing surrounding landscape. For Rivendell I would need to buy a second set to have specific piece types and colours (such as the printed tiles) to do additional buildings since there is very little variation in styles of buildings at Rivendell. I don't know how far Lego will go with LOTR so I didn't want to risk it. I really hope they will go all the way with LOTR and bring out many sets, I'd love to do LOTR Mocs. I pray everyday for that! 😂

Make sure you watch plenty of reviews about it because there are limitations eg. once you start you cant pause and continue, theres only restart so you have to be sure about what you will do once it starts and that you won’t need to go to the toilet 😅

    I just found you channel, watched the past videos and subscribed. Being fairly new to Lego, seeing your techniques used in the beginning of the build is very interesting. Have you considering doing a video that is not time-lapsed on these early build techniques? In this video, can the 48x48 sections be separated, or does the layers you added on top of the olive green section span the joints, thus making it one giant structure? It looks like it is one 96x96 structure completed.

    I only use authentic Lego parted out from sets, bought from bricklink and from PAB walls. As for how much I spent, I have no idea, these parts are gathered over time and reused for each diorama I build, meaning everything i build will be taken apart and pieces reused for the next build and so on until death do me part 😄

    @@1by1Brick stone arches is great with shops on top of the bridge and with medieval defensive tower! Check old London Bridge, Ponte vecchia of Florence, Rialto bridge of Florence, Merchants bridge in Erfurt! Check also Pont Valentré in France!! All this bridges were worth of a Lego set
