The engineering that went into designing the parts,, setting up the production jigs and moulding the tiny model parts is incredible and is in many ways more impressive than the original motorbike fabrication. The fact that they all fit together so perfectly is testimony to Tamiya.
Thanks for this, the engine is magnificent.
Absolutely beautiful, the black and gold colours accentuate the beauty of the bike way more than the race livery, once again a great build, thank you so much for sharing it with us.

I was a motorcycle mechanic for 35 years, and I am just in awe of the detail in this kit. Nice job on your part, as well.
Tamiya makes such incredible models! So much detail and the fit and finish is beyond compare. They would look great built straight, but you elevate them with your modifications and creative decision making along the way. Each build of yours is a journey of discovery, thank you for sharing! Some years ago, I met Jim Redman here in germany at a local historical racing event. We talked a bit and I saw a t-shirt with him and a Honda and i said: WOW! The RC166... He looked at me and said: It was a beast! I swear, that was one of the greatest moments in my life.
I like how you added your individuality, and it just looks fantastic in black.

You showed wonderful skill to build this fabulous kit, I can say that I had the pleasure of seeing and hearing this beautiful machine ridden by the late great Mike Hailwood here at Mallory Park in the UK, I will never forget it.

Perfektní práce - gratuluji.
Outstanding kit engineering by Tamiya. Great build too. The only area which lets the whole project down, is the use of vastly oversized Phillips screws, which look totally out of place.
