I wonder if you are going to coat the bearings with grease for 2 reasons. Lubrication and shielding the bearings from humidity which is going to make them rust.

Hi, Welded metal get rusty if not painted specialey getting water oxidize metal so you need to stop water until you paint the welded parts or all
