    So sick! Another thing to think about is utility lines will sometimes be buried under sidewalks or on the side of roads. If anyone is thinking about doing this, either don't dig deep or be extra cautious because these lines aren't always marked

    Your DIY videos are my favourite. No shame in saving the trick for another time when you are feeling more confident. Maybe film a “road to pole jam” video where you build up to it using smaller ones and then go back to the one you built for redemption.

    Zack, This is street art. As with all artists, your work is always a work in progress. Only you can perceive the imperfections. Therefore, you’ve done well. As I’ve mentioned before, people can talk endlessly, but until they create something of their own, it’s just idle chatter.

    Thanks for posting this, skateboarders often forget that making new spots for skateboarding is as important as learning new tricks, especially when making new spots are unlocking new tricks. The least that I can do here in China is to carry a rub brick and wax in my backpack to unlock some places in my neighborhood and around my area. Surely whole crew can do much more.

    this is one of the best spots you've made. it sounds really cool and solid when you're hitting it and since all anyone can really do on a polejam is clear it, it makes sense for it to be a challenge.

    Yeah, It's kinda steep.. Totally agree..🤔The angle towards the top could use be a bit lowering, which obviously would allow better or atleast more flow off & onto the pavement..🙂

    Great video. I was also wondering why you didn’t dig a little for the back part, I understand it would make it more mellow, but more sturdy. Good job at knowing your limits too, skaters often struggle with letting go of a trick after trying for so long, the problem is you’ll be tired, therefore you’re more prone to injury, which is not good for your skating.

    I've never found a good pole jam or done one but with that said seems like The technique would be act like you're jumping over the pole instead of riding up it and let the pole push the board up onto your feet. It's always seemed to me like it's more of a wallie than a grind. But again this is advice from somebody who's never done the trick and I'm aware there's a stereotype about that person

    Could you not bend that yellow pole into a pole jam?

  • @mikayla_collie

    @mikayla_collie

    3 ай бұрын

    sure, if you hit it with your car, maybe. 😅 also, im pretty sure Zack doesn't like blatantly destroying property. adding something you brought yourself is a bit different than breaking stuff that is already there so you can skate it. not to mention, that those yellow safety/barrier poles are usually filled with concrete, and are not always hollow. but yes, if that pole were leaning, it would be a good pole jam.
