Building Relationships One Brick at a Time | Lindsay Adams | TEDxRuakura

What happens when a public servant with no prior experience decides to build his own house and recruits his 70 year old father, also without building experience, to join him? The result is unexpected. It isn’t a story of overcoming obstacles, it is a blueprint of how to interact with others to get the results that you desire.
Lindsay is an engaging and inspiring conference speaker, regularly delivering keynote addresses within Australia, Asia, the United States and Europe. Lindsay has served his industry body, the National Speakers Association of Australia as State and National President. He has also served as the International President of the Global Speakers Federation, the governing body of the eleven professional speaking associations around the world.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx

I'm also surprised this video doesn't have more views and likes? I feel like the audio doesn't pick up the audience feedback at all, which gives the viewer the impression that he's speaking to an empty room or that his jokes are bombing maybe? I also feel like some people are highly influenced by either the positive or negative feedback of others, and a complete lack of feedback could be misinterpreted as negative. He's obviously a good speaker with a good sense of humor and relevant, useful information. Anyways, that's my theory and I'm sticking to it. Well done, I enjoyed it thoroughly!
