My fave thing is when people actually type well during the sound tests and Ed def passed the test. Love these dream setup series - Ed breaks it down so nicely, I feel like even a noob like me could do it. Would love a dedicated video when you get her cable management since the last cable mod video was posted 6 years ago. (:
one thing i love about Ed is, he does not start anu series until he is sure that he can complete it and wait for everything whereas sometimes at some other channel they start a series and than we never hear about ot ever again.

dude i just wanna say you are an amazing content creator and i have only watched your vids for all of my pc related things and got everything that i needed and then some for the build, thank you for the wholesome and amazing content, you deserve every blessing that has and will come your way you earned it! thank you Ed!
i think the coolest thing has to be sharing the space. so many i know would pull the well its my space so she has to find somewhere else but seeing you do this is really cool. me and my partner are buying a home later this year and one of the things we are trying to figure out is that we thrive off of parallel living. like just being in the same room but doing completely our own things. while i want my full game room setup just for me and she wants her space just for her figuring out how to make those fit with the parallel living thing we do is difficult

Hey Ed, pro tip here from someone who also does custom setups and wall mounted furniture: put some painters tape on the wall behind the 4x4 posts to minimize the risk of tearing up the drywall if you ever decide to remove the headboard to a different spot :)

Yes! I thoroughly enjoyed this video! I was wondering when we'd get an update video! Thanks for this and I can't wait for more! Also, wowza! The lighting difference is insane!
This setup is extremely epic. Both setups together is going to make this whole room epic!
i feel your pain and ambition. I too tried to get my wife into gaming after i caught her playing COD on my pc a few times. except instead of a full blown set up like i wanted to build her i settled for a series S set up with mouse and keyboard
Can't get enough of watching these videos. You are a god, my friend. So clean. I love it. Can't wait for part two.
Can't wait for part 2 and to see the setup complete! So far it's looking sick! Your channel has inspired me to both finally get a PC and to make a setup I can be proud of, so Thank You and keep up the amazing work!
I CANT WAIT TO SEE PART 2 I LOVE THESE FREAKING VIDEOS -----THANK YOU EDGAR!!!!

Edgar, love the vids, and love what you are doing for your wife. Speaking of which, thought you said she couldn't be in the room until the setup was finished? @35:50 you spot her in the room :)

How do you expect someone to use a setup when that person never had a setup? It takes time to learn but im patient. Plus this will be used as a guest gaming setup as well for friends that come over and want to game with me. Its multi-purpose my boi!

@@TechSource so she never used a laptop, a PC, or a keyboard? You've mentioned she has a laptop so I expected her to know how to use a keyboard. @@Stefan-wp2qr I mean using a keyboard for gaming is a different story. My gf only uses her laptop for multi-media and sometimes lol but she s still clunky with the keyboard if she s playing other games that I recommend, but the point u made about her not being interested it's absolutely right, you can clearly see that she doesn't care even when he did the first build for her.
Just wanna let you know that ur not using the right keys on her board. The bottom row would be 1.5 1 1.5 7 1.5, currently ur using 1.25 1.25 1.25 7 1.25. The numbers are the length of the keycap, your letters are 1u keys, backspace is 2u (this board got a split backspace tho), spacebar can be any size, depending on the layout. The pipe and backslash key would have to be a 1.5u backspace cap (which your keycap set should include), and the insert would go where the `~ key is.

Amazing setup! I have been working on my first ever setup and I so hope i can feature on setupwars when its finished.
hurry and do part two love this type of videos
its crazy before you did you setup I was trying to find that exact floating backboard and desk and not one thing I could find that was what I had in mind and you did the exact thing I had in my head but I was gonna and still am going to go across the full wall with mine, great minds think alike I probably even commented it on one of ur vids a long time ago
I always wondered why you didn't use the Phillips lights before this. I always buy a bunch around black friday bc you can get them for at least 50% off at Target. I went crazy this year and bought a whole bunch of stuff mostly for our theater room and it slaps. We use the light strip in the bedroom late at night, my wife likes the bright white for when shes reading. It's bright enough to read without really being in my face while im trying to sleep or something. Also... what brackets are those? Ekena?
Great vid mate 👍🏾 Standing desk
This guys securing to the studs better than a GC. Good job man, its looks legit.
Love the clean setups man. Would love to cable manage like you one day 😅
The g502 x is amazing ! i bought 2 so i have a spare one. never want anything else from now, the battery life is also insane, i maby charge once a month and you can use it for like 70 hours
Love the setup you're building for your wife. I can't wait to see Part 2. One question though, why can't she have her own room or space in another part of your house?
Always the Best Videos..Thanks Ed and Nice Job..Someones gettin some tonight :)
Do you know what I saw in your videos? That you never give up. If you have a very big problem in your build, even if it takes 6 months for you to fix it,you will always do it. And that is what I like about you.❤️
i love your videos ed, they make me happy
Govee released the M1 led lights that are super bright compared to other leds they had in the past. Well worth the money! amazing setup!
Man what you said about different qualitys of rbg lightstrips its true. Im trying to figure this out since years now and ive always come to the conclusion that even tho philips is expensive af they still make the best ones out of all of them.
Those wide monitors are for people who are used to 2 display setups, but not for sim players or track-ir users. There you are happy with a huge 16x9 4K display like a fast samsung curved 55"! peripheral vision or not, you will miss looking up and down alot. I tried this on a friends pc - it is like you slit your eyelids the whole time.
I recently got my little set up and I’m so happy 😂 I always dreamed of getting one I’m working on my own first pc build and when I finally get it all I’ll give the pre built to my brother
Great video, set-up is looking great, maaaaaaaannnnnn, those Phillips lights are looking like a wise investment. Great video, have a great weekend.

Ah I need one of this cool American drywalls too. I do own a professional hammer drill and yet, I can hardly get in to the wall. That stuff is more solid then a rock. And I am one of the lucky ones. Got a friend downtown who can't even do that. It's forbidden, as there is a good chance of hitting some medieval painting or something. Well, my next project will include a fake wall attached to my desk. Let's see if it solves the problem.
He's so nice to his wife... Giving her a better of everything he has👍
Just an armchair observation. A 2x4 stud is 1.25" wide. Your bracket looks wider than that and the screws hit the outside of the stud, not the middle. Maybe a piece of wood Horizontal that is .5" think. screwed to the 2x4 center studs. Then your brackets to the wood plate.
you have PCs and all your videos I can’t even afford a gaming laptop or PS five but man keep up the good work your videos really put me in a good mood😅

Do you happen to have the link to the brackets you used to mount the countertop? I am going for something somewhat similar but I am not sure what type of brackets to use.
I honestly love ultragear because there a known brand and also they have budget monitors I got mine for 150$ and it's 165hz
I love these type of vids I wish I had a dream setup can't afford it
This would be the BEST anniversary gift ever
You need the bandaid mod, lubed switches, foam and masking tape on the back of the pcb to make it perfect for a cheap budget fix.
Love the mounting idea, just wonder what are the size for the L brackets?
i love your face when your drilling. haha. keep up the good work my man!!!
Hello I just wanted to say nice video. Do you 3d model setups yourself and if so could you tell me what program do you use and will there be a tutorial how to 3d model setups?
You should do a video about the 3D modelling process. What app? What service? This is interesting and useful for others wanting to do the same.
Where you got those brackets to mount the desk at? I plan on doing a floating desk too
