    Glad this was helpful! I have not yet used a gymbal with my rig and I’m definitely torn about which route to take. I have access to a full-sized ronin but it’s just a pain to set up, plus have someone wirelessly pull focus means I need to buy a wires less setup. On the other hand if I buy the Crane 3s I have to strip down my rig which means poor battery life etc, but can handle the rig just myself...still weighing the options and will definitely do a video on that once I make a decision!

  • @jordanvp

    Actually I’ve been able to resolve the issue of the lens not fitting the matte box, but even before I did, I had no vignetting due to the crop factor of the camera.

  • @jordanvp

    @jordanvp

    4 жыл бұрын

    So sorry just now seeing this comment! No I haven't noticed any shadows in the footage nor any edges of the matte box being caught in the frame. I think this is mostly due to the crop sensor of the camera and probably the only way you would catch anything in the footage would be to use an ultrawide lens like 10mm or something. In my time using this setup I've had no issues!
