I once built a full-size log cabin much the same way, only we used 10" screw shank steel spike nails driven with an 8 lb. sledgehammer to hold the logs together.

When the arms grow from the right place. Can it be the same, but in real sizes for a Russian bath?

Tiny spools pile on top, nice and neat, for a building of a lovely tiny log cabin. People happen to love the design of the model and the stairs seemed pretty cool. Loved all the details for the windows and the door and the rooftop. My comment is brief but puts forth detail and I say it with respect: it’s fabulous.

Мужик, там ни туалета, ни кухни нет. Посмотри архитектурные альбомы 1900 годов. Там реальная магия. А на видео просто коробка по сравнению с ними. Не в обиду автору, конечно. Хотя он тоже мог бы посмотреть их и сделать, возможно, какой-то из них)))

I was thinking the same thing. I loved Lincoln Logs wen I was a kid. I think that is why I always wanted a real log home as an adult.

Делали такие же в школе. Был целый участок: дом, сарай, баня и колодец. Заготовки делали из реек: строгали до формы, близкой к окружности и прогоняли через плашку М20 в токарном станке). Геморрой сами понимаете какой был, но было интересно.

When I was young I made a house that looked exactly like this one but my mother😅😂 was bothered by it so I threw it from the fifth floor where I stayed and brought it again at that time it was fine 🤩💚

I'm 54 and we had them also. They still make them but I can't see that kids play with them anymore. And most of them are made of plastic.

I don't know your dimensions but building to dollhouse scale either 12:1 or 18:1 allows access to a lot of ready made items including construction materials. Nice project though!

Lots of detail and attention given to the design and skilfully assembled as well. Did you give any thought to using actual rafters and purlins in the roof though, you could have clad the roof in shingles as well then. I know it would have been more work, but it would have been a more realistically constructed model of the full scale then so people can learn about the whole build process. Just out of interest, what would be the dimensions of this cabin in full scale?

yes, we thought about shingles. but they did not figure out what to make it out of. we started building a new one, with a different approach, I think many will like it. House size in real size about 10m * 10m

@@uwoo Cool, looking forward to the next one you do, I guess the shingles, will be small and very fiddlly to put on individually. Probably talking several hundred or so! If you want a really challenge, they could also be mounted on little battens as well lol

@@user-zl1ux2wu2o на моем канале подробности почему я летаю на самодельных планерах. Да и где мне найти 40-50 тыс на композитный планер если за 3 тыс рублей за 57 дней я сделаю свой. Тем более я люблю такую форму планера и под ветер не более 5-6 м/с в более сильные ветра я не летаю так как могу простыть или спину начнет ломать.
