With the ricochet it ends up doing 4x the damage of a regular cannon. It will be fantastic for killing the unicorn in queen charges.

I was hoping for a bigger village to solve the space problem but I guess this is cool too

I wonder if town hall 17 might be a water theme cause they did a poll last time and the nature won so that might be the reason why th16 is a nature theme update and this also means that these 2 designs (Nature and Water) already has a scratch design while the poll is undergoing and possibly bringing that water theme to town hall 17 instead 😅

i predicted the last 5 townhall designs, and you arent too far off, but i was thinking also of a sort of mineshaft/underground theme or resource related theme or even sky theme (by resources i mean like elixer th gold th or dark elixer th)

The idea is brilliant. We thought that the defenses would just combine and just add their power but now these defences have more damage and their own special ability. This was a great design of mechanics.

As an player of clash of clan since 2014 - (age 11) I now retired myself ..now I would like to spend time with family..thanks coc.a lot ❤

I never knew this will be a feature, the community will appreciate your hard work SuperCell! Yet in some speculations in a new reddit post that mini pekka will be added because of the hint on the starter screen or sorts(just a theory) but as always, you made one of the best games possible to us. Thanks Supercell!💯💯

The cannon design reminds me of the boom cannon from Boom Beach and the sniper tower without the roof

Defense merging you say? I wonder how this will be expanded upon in later updates… Introducing the Inferno Artillery Wizard Tower, that accumulates damage to insane numbers, does splash damage and can hit you no matter where you stand on the map! With this new contraption you can send literal hell in the form of an orbital attack right to your attacker’s queen, for the low price of all your storage capacity and five months of wait time!

These designs are awesome! As a COC player of 10 years this is the first update where I'm actually excited for the new th theme and designs, hasn't been this cool (IMO) since th 11. So elaborate but conveys power, they're awesome

My personal favourite is th 13, but I agree that almost all of the other ones just don’t do it for me. 10/11 were cool, 12 and 14 are meh, and I actively dislike 15. But this one looks really, really cool indeed.

The mechanic itself is great, but the design of the buildings, and all the th16 new designs are quite odd to me, they all just feel like something that didn’t came from Clash of Clans. When th15 came out it looked pretty different from what came before, but it still maintained that clashy feel to it, and th16 doesn’t feel like that to me. Noticing I am only talking about design here, the gameplay mechanics are great overall I look at that cannon and damn, it feels like something that came out of a those games that copy clash, and try to make everything look flashy and extravagant

Agree 100%. Also the merging idea is good, but should have been for the clan capital top base. The main base should keep the defence simplicity, not combining things ☠︎︎.

It would nice if a destroyed Archer tower could spawn 3 SuperArchers as cc units. But the players could only choose one of the towers or it would be randomly selected. Something similar could happen with Wizard Towers regarding spawning SuperWizards. Maybe these units could go back to the town centre as new cc units during the siege.

I can now see why you guys announced a few weeks ago that you had expanded your team - the updates you are introducing to Clash are incredible. The Mashup Madness event was less than two months ago, and yet, now we’re about to get an enormous new Town Hall update! I’m so excited to see what the future holds for Clash! Been playing it for almost 10 years, it’s my favourite game and the only one I’ve consistently played throughout my life, and it’s astonishing to see how well it still holds over a decade after its release. I’ve always doubted I’d ever stop playing it, even more so now with the rate of updates and new content you’re adding to it!😍

This is probably the sickest thing you guys have done. Wish builder base would also be more interesting like this but I love this for home base. Thank you!

Finally a dream of both merging troops and defences came true

I love what they are doing with the exception of making the Mega Structure permanent. I would prefer having some flexibility with that. Being able to switch back and forth.

@@klockenberg2299 I know that space is something that is always a challenge they deal with regarding updates. I have been playing for about 10 1/2 years. However just like a couple years ago they did expand the map to give us more room for the new structures being added to the game. I never said I didn’t understand it. I just expressed I didn’t like the permanent decision regarding this. As you know. It’s and option. A person has the choice not to merge them. So if they choose not to. Then the space issue is not being solved with this choice for now. That may change later. So with that. Then there is still room to unmerge the structures. At any rate. It will be interesting to see how this is handled. They got rid of the extra of the barracks in the past to provide more space. Doing that for the camps builder huts etc are also a way to give us more space for new structures.

I was quite sad to see no new defence mechanism on the townhall and the same old inferno tower and poison spell but the merging of defence was a very smart move by supercell, freeing up space for future new defence (th17) as well as giving us a new defence. It was a brilliant Idea I can't wait to see more. ♥️

I would Love to see more of these fused defenses, please, please don't forget about adding more like with gear ups

What if the merging worked for different types of buildings with each other? Like you could combine an archer tower and a cannon to get some sort of dragon blasting high raised canon that fires a blast of arrows, etc. But this is still pretty cool, too

Thats really cool. Exactly what we needed to refresh cannon & archer tower.

There is a “1” over the army section of the shop when displaying the gui for the new defence costs. This may correlate with the little boxes shown above heroes as seen in a few in depth overviews from other KZreadrs on the sneekpeaks. This building may be able to switch between abilities for heroes respectively?

Hopefully there will be more fusion in the future

I feel like a cooler way of doing this would have been to let you merge whatever defenses you want to create cool hybrids but I suppose that’s more work.

Its a great way of creating defenses strategies and more space can be made in the base this update is amazing

There is 1 huge issue with the merging defenses option. If there are accounts which have NOT converted their archer towers to long/short --> they can convert all 8 archer towers for 4 combined archer towers. To tackle this issue, COC needs to introduce 1 more archer tower which allows players to make at least 4 combined archer towers.

lets hope more of these were made imagine a merged mortar that can stun troops a xbow that shoots twice as fast

Why would you think we will get those? We have very limited number of them. Merging them does not seem viable.

You could allow players to sell obstacles and decorations for gems to other players so those who like collecting would have a way to obtain decorations and obstacles that they didn't have the chance to obtain please think about the idea

16 тх классная на вид леса с азиатском стиле и на тематику 14 ратуши в Джунглях, новые строения или здания очень классные на вид тип 2 вида: Лесные и обычные. Способности появляются у героев, тоже намекает на 14 ратушу с животными. Новые юниты мне по душе, напоминает Clash Royale и другую афишу в средние века в волшебном мире, есть ещё афиша Шрек, Наруто, Игра Престолов/Дом Дракона, Властелин колец/Хоббит... Новый вид животного, смотрится очень красиво, сразу можно назвать Лиса невидимка/Лис Неведимка. 15 тх мне больше нравится, вместе с другими ратушами, а сама 13 тх в зимнем оттенке моя любимая... Ну, очень интресное зимнее обновление получается с разными механиками. Возможно, больше нового героя не будет, есть вероятность что будет в будущем из-за изменения баланса и атак нападения на кого-то и из-за чего-то.

Merging defences is one of the best ideas the team came up with, both reducing the complexity and not adding new buildings 😁😃

After reading the log, i must say this is very beneficial!

I think it would be better where you could merge any of the defensive pieces together like an archer tower and a wizard etc . But you only get to do it once . No going back after it’s done. It could make some cool things

Now it’s essential.. Because new town hall updates need new defensive building..merging is a great idea

I think this is s great way to solve the how to add more stuff in a limited space problem
