Had an idea if you took an old oil can metal or fuel can cut it up and bend it around the clamshell behind the steering wheel it would look really cool a lot of work probably but having it metal would make it blend I know you said you wanted to paint the steering wheel and the clamshell but I thought that might be a neat idea

Might be a long shot but I’ve been following this build from the beginning and it’s been a huge help to planning mine as I’m doing the same exact build at the moment. Wondering if you can get me a rough measurement from the back of your cab wall/cab corner to the center of the rear axle? For some reason compared to yours my column and column mounting isn’t quite lining up the way yours is judging off where it’s sitting in your videos. Thanks for the great content

Nice work. I also have a 65 on an 05 P71. My question is, what happens if you need to change the heater core in the housing behind the welded lower piece you just put in?

Great videos, do you have a part 2 to this dash series?

What gauges did you use and how did you install the gauge cluster.
