In this video I will be building a modified antenna system for rfd900 using yagi antenna with a 3d printed housing and amplifier to increase the range.
However the amplifier I got is not compatible with the rfd900 since it’s was for unidirectional antenna whilst the rdf900 is a bidirectional antenna system ,however I will be leaving a link in the description to the one I think it’s most compatible with the rfd900 module.
Update the link for the amplifier is compatible with rfd900.
I was able to achieve a 10km+ range without an amplifier with the YAGI antenna only just about 6ft above ground there’s more potential if antenna is raised higher to longer depending on how much flight time you have, find links below to components used.
