Now, some build notes:
Regarding the use of acetone, it's not the most dangerous chemical in the world (it's used in nail varnish remover for example) but it's always a good idea to wear suitable gloves when handling it and be in a well ventilated environment during its use so you don't breathe in the fumes. It's also worth noting that the vapours themselves are very flamable, so keep sparks and open flames well away from your work area during use. Again, this is why it's important to be in a well ventilated environment.

sneekydart yeah exactly, in a full case with ample ventilation and actual coolers on the card and cpu you’d obviously get much better temps but that’s not what the desk is about which I don’t think Ivan understood.
tip: using acetone does dissolve and dilute a lot of the surface gunk but still leaves a monolayer of hydrocarbons, best would be to use a detergent like ajax and then applying the epoxy asap. This will drastically improve surface bonding

So glad to find a tutorial that I can work off of, and draw ideas from. I was thinking of using a standard sized power supply, given my proclivity for gaming, and figured that what I could probably do is create a side cabinet on the desk to house it. A secondary, fun idea I was toying with was extending the power button to the siding, where a small hole would be placed for it to set in, along with a button covering with the power symbol etched into it to maintain the wooden appearance, possibly to do something similar with a disk drive and USB ports with little sliding covers.

Love how y'all say "aluminum" ;) You can also make a table with an aluminum inlay, inset over the processor (CPU) as a hot plate for keeping your coup-a-tea warm. Preferred the shorts at 4:16, nice legs, on the table too. You could just superglue a laptop under and existing table, effectively invisible unless thief if crawling.

I'm am totally doing this as soon as I can afford the materials multiple times because I while definitely need more than a few tries. I'd probably go for something thicker so everything can fit in. Probably use walnut wood and maybe motorized legs to switch between sitting and standing mode. I doubt I do this soon though. I don't have much money and I am already experiencing with my current desk. I recently had the idea of fixing everything I can (internet box, wifi 6 router, headset receptor) below it with magnets for easy access and I love the result, but there are a lot of approximations. I know very little about woodworking and I am missing a lot of tools and skills.
Thanks for the instructions. I made one too, but I got a bit carried away, so now the whole thing is invisible. Pretty amazing stuff, I wish I could show you
