Dear Cesar, first of all let me say: thank you for opening up to us like this and talk about your struggles. That's never easy, but for most people who have such issues from time to time, it's really helpful. We're all humans, we all struggle, we all have our problems, you're not alone. And while I'm really glad that Elm Hill City Zoo is not lost to you (or to us who love this project so much), I want to say something that's far more important: you are not one of your projects and your happiness and self-esteem should not depend on wether you're able to create content for a game. Don't get me wrong - I can see that you love what you do here with your channel and you love the game and that's a good thing. We love that you share that with us. Your excitement about building skills of yourself (and others), a habitat you finished, something new you came up with, a new DLC or feature from Frontier is always contagious. But please don't reduce yourself to only that. I'm a 100 % sure we all would have mourned a sudden end of ECZ with you, but we would not have thought any less of you because of it. Some day the Elm Hill City Zoo will be finished and you'll move on to another project and we, who just like to watch you build, learn from you and get inspired by your ideas and creativity, will move along with you. Just my two cents 🙂

Ooof, I SOOO feel that bit about the anxiety and feeling down!! For years, I've had the habit of being quite unkind to myself and it's something I still struggle with, so I can relate to this A LOT. Here's one thing I found to help quite a bit (in hopes it'll help at least one person in a similar headspace): Whenever I am talking down on myself and feeling like I won't accomplish anything (and all the other things along those lines), I try to stop and imagine a friend telling me this and how I'd react. Usually, I realize that I wouldn't treat any other person that badly, so it makes no sense to be this unkind to myself. For anyone struggling with this or similar things, please try this next time you find yourself in that headspace and remember that you're worth more than you think in that moment and you deserve kindness and compassion, especially in moments when you feel like you've failed ❤

Cesar, I also suffer from anxiety and depression, so I completely understand. We all deal with things differently and your feelings are valid, you are allowed to feel how you do. I can totally understand how a video game can become your safe space. I have been struggling with similar things, and some of the games I play have really become a place where I can just forget about reality and dive into a place where I dont need to worry. So yeah, I totally get your idea of like a "breakdown over a save file" haha. I just totally get that. I mean this habitat is probably one of your best habitats ever. It is amazing and so beautiful. I am so glad they were able to fix Elm Hill City Zoo. It is one of my favorite things to watch and I would be so sad if we lost it and it would be even sadder since the next episode is the 100th episode of Elm Hill City Zoo. I consider myself lucky as it was at the beginning of the project but damn that entrance plaza was so fine I may try to rebuild it soon 😆 Just one silly question by the way, is it possible in Planet Zoo to transfer animals without having to enrole staff members when in sandbox mode ? 😶

It looks very well built. I was wondering if you can do a tour of the Elm Hill city zoo. And discuss future plans. That would be cool. And I know how it feels to have anxiety. I know how it feels. They get every day. because every day I'll. live It's because Jesus died for me. I'm not the same anxiety written person that I was. And I cannot wait to see more of the Elm Hill City Zoo. Great they managed to save probably my favorite zoo!!....wish they would put in the same effort like the bug with the new gift shop!!!...many people been complaining about that for months!...probably need a creator with lots of views to complain about it and it might get some attention. 😩

They are really amazing for doing that! I think it was way easier for them to fix my single zoo (especially that I gave them all my PC specs) than to figure out why the souvenir shop works for some people without any problem (for example for me) and it affects other in different ways when everyone has different PCs

Bautiful! Incredible! But isn't the Exhibit to small for the Alligator in Game? I remember that the Saltwater Crocodiles wanted a lot of space, when I short time couild play the game. In real Zoo your Exhibit is normal for crocodiles.

Thank you so much!! Yeah it is slightly to small for the ingame requirements but you can turn the animal welfare off in the sandbox settings and that way they are super happy with that enclosure! I am sure that in real life the size of the enclosure would be fine!

I love planet zoo, but the problem is you need DLC for the best experience. It’s hard to get good builds using only base game items and animals because there is gaps which make it feel like something is missing unless you have that one conservation pack piece, etc

Sometimes you can get those packs with great deals on Steam! It’s totally true that nowadays they create higher quality of building pieces and plants and they just look better. The base game is more that 4 years old now so that also explains a lot

Thank you! The habitat gate is actually hidden underground and I created implied stairs that keepers would use irl to go down to the habitat from the bridge in the middle

Hey there Cesar, been silently following allowing the series, it is really creative to see people adding bigger exhibits into reptile houses, where as the reptile houses are usually quite small. Anyways I have one question, what biome are you building the zoo on?

I’m glad you are doing better! I would have still watched your videos even if you permanently lost the save files. Would you happen to have a link to the wild cat house separately? My laptop can’t load the whole zoo unfortunately :(

Thank you!! This really means so much! Unfortunetaly steam workshop blueprints have a limit of 4000 pieces and the whole building with all the enclosures is more than that :(

Your habitat is very beautiful, congratulations! However, I have a question... how do you deal with the animals' space needs? Or do you play with them disabled?

Thank you so much! Yeah I play in sandbox and have the animal space needs disabled. I normally go for more realistic enclosures and the game space requirements are sometimes super large

It’s sad about all the layoffs that have happened at frontier, because they really have the best devs around. They just want to have people enjoy their games.

I have not seen a mixed species habitat including moose in any zoo but maybe it could work 😅 they tend to be quite agressive

Most of the exhibit reptiles and amphibians, nile monitor, spectacled caiman, dwarf caiman & galapagos giant tortoise 🤓
