As and electric skateboarder riding an AT setup as one of my daily drivers, I love this build. I didn't see you mention it in either video, so I thought I'd comment that on big wheel pulleys like you've got, there's usually an extra bearing on the pulley where the wheel+pulley assembly mounts onto the axle. The axle on the rear trucks of my AT board actually has a shoulder on it for taking a bearing with a 1mm larger inner diameter.

Here's a tip, have a longer deck and tighter trucks and kick push to start, it would take strains off the motors

Great to see this come together. On an unrelated note, your neighbors all sweep their leaves into the street? Here the city would fine you faster than you could say "weeeblies!".

Yeah that's the way it is here! Twice a week they come by and clean up anything in the street. In fact, if you don't put them in the street they dont touch em.

Could you please explain the exact modifications you did in order to change it for 6S ?

Sure. It's two solder bridges on each board. On the front panel of the board there are solder jumpers labeled 6S and 7S. You want to bridge the 6S jumper. (do this on each board). On the bottom there is a solder jumper near the left most resistor. You want to solder that connection as well. Send me an email. I'll send you some pictures/video. I'm going to make a note of it in the description as well.

Total build price?

at higher speeds you may end up with speed wobbles. you may tell yourself you wont be going fast enough for them to affect you but they still can be there even at lower speeds. id suggest putting some type of hard rubber material inside of that hollow springs for dampening. look up Trampa boards and how they do it

Why didnt you you just print a bigger wheel pulley? Getting enough torque for hills is the most critical point for person weighing over 80kg.

Yeah that was an option. There isn't a ton of room, but I could probably bump it up a bit. That's the beauty of 3D printing, can always just "print another."

Why would you turn down the volts? You’re going to have way less torque now for the same speed. That’s just ridiculous.

My original thinking was the Top Speed was too fast anyway, so I'd rather sacrifice the extra voltage in favor of higher battery capacity and longer ride time. In the end, I moved the voltage back up because the voltage wasn't enough to get me going.
