    Why do you remove the eggs from the mother as nature and mother knows what to do better than you as you never been a female snake that’s given birth. Why interfere with nature natural order of life. Just leave nature to do what is dose nature knows best always.

  • @Molinaro_Snake_Lab

    @Molinaro_Snake_Lab

    Yes, bird eggs have a membrane known as the chalaza which suspends the embryo in the middle of the egg and allows the egg to be rotated. Snake eggs lack that membrane. The embryo fixes itself to the egg shell so rotating the egg (especially a few day into incubation) can kill the embryo.

    This is another reminder that vermiculite is known to be an asbestos potential, and you’re generating a fair bit of dust creating these substrates. I highly recommend you test your vermiculite for asbestos and take proper precautions. Some asbestos sampling of your work environment is probably a good idea. I’d hate to see your health at risk!

    It's not taking a lot of time and it's not like he has new clutch of eggs everyday. He can store substrates anywhere and just take it once there's eggs, than have this pre-maden boxes laying around without guarantee that it will be used. Snakes are picky sometimes and can decided they don't wanna have eggs even if they were with male and oppositely - can use past years male semen to suddenly have eggs like this snake in video.
