I appreciate how you break down, explain, then give examples. Helps a lot when I use your examples to come up with my stuff.

I just learned so much from you. I've been over thinking this solo thing for too long just throwing notes everywhere. I like this approach. Less is best.

Please dial down that ear piercing over driven crunch on your lead tone man! Especially since Jubu's got that sweet clean tone!

IKR.. the only time I've heard Jubu use a lot of distortion during live performances of Golden Time of Day was here.. and even then it wasn't overly saturated. The tone was just enough gain. Not too little not too much. kzread.info/dash/bejne/Za6Vs6WlfLfVoLA.html

Can you please explain why he plays the G#m pentatonic scale over the Eman7 chord, and the E major Pentatonic over the Amaj7 chord? I understand how to play them I just don’t know why so it’s hard to apply it to my own playing. I’m just used to playing Emaj pentatonic in the key of E. Thanks.

G#m pentatonic is essentially an Emaj13 arpeggio without the E, and E maj pent is essential Amaj13 arpeggio without the A

alrdy checked out this funky wah solo and the chords? awesome content btw. L'indécis - Full Performance (Chillhop Live Session) or Yussef Dayes Alfa Mist - Love Is The Message (Live @ Abbey Road) love the shredding so much (the fast parts maybe too hard for us students :D)

Here is a tip. You can't "learn" a solo. It comes from the soul but you have to also have foundational skill. Jubu plays his solos differently every single time live. I've never heard him exactly repeat a solo on Golden Time of Day..ever

Solos do vary from performance to performance but usually there's a repetitive element in various solo's
