Building a snowskate from old skis and a skateboard
In this video I try to build a DIY snowskate from old skis and and used skateboards. I had many different designs in mind but in the end I went with the simplest I could think of... at least for the first version. Trying to build some stuff to have fun in the snow is awesome. I highly recoment you try it yourself. Gather some old things and put them to good use.

Danke! Da fühlt me sich grad guet, wenn de KZread-Sackmässer-Meister en Kommentar unter em eigene Video hinterlat. Danke für die viele Tipps und Tricks!
word to the wise - snowskate for hard pack, powder surf for deeper pow (as little as 10cm would be considered deep for the snowskate). also lot of room to experiment with powsurf shapes and designs. or if you want an all-terrain strapless board - check out something like the era board designs.
Nice. Made one myself the past winter and have gotten quite good at maneuvering it. My build design was almost identical to your final. I stayed on small almost flat hills and have moved onto steeper longer hills and jumps. One thing is for sure… Any deeper than 15 fresh centimetres and it struggles.
Very cool!
wow super , you are profetional
snowskates are made for resorts or firm snow with light layer of soft snow

I tried a RAM hovland snowskate and it worked all afternoon in 12 inches of fresh snow :) It really depends on your subdeck design and size !!!
Could you post measurements and materials I’m about to build one
these blocks between ski and top tech is way to tall i think
