    You can fry the bacon first, then scramble the eggs in the same pan in the bacon grease after it's rendered from cooking. I personally don't like stuff fried in bacon grease usually, but when camping and/or using cast iron pans its just easier. I'm for sure getting one of these wood stoves. Looks great! I love everything you do! Peace.

Bacon always takes longer than the eggs so start that first. The bacon would have cooked faster as well being the only thing on the stove prior to adding the pan for the eggs.

    I took one look at that knife and how it was cutting through that carrot and knew what was going to happen, sad to say I was right. I'd definitely keep a sturdy knife with me for cutting up the carrots and other such veggies, as well as possibly a tiny wood cutting board. Most Walmart knives and the like(Looks a lot like what you had) have really crappy steel and look like a full tang but are a really partial one and snap as yours did, super quickly and with the most trivial of tasks. Don't need anything insane but I'd definitely invest in a medium to high quality knife for camping trips and bushcraft, it'll save you a lot of time and headache.

  • @ericdrisgula3879

    @ericdrisgula3879

    Yeah most are not full tang and cpmplete garbage , reason being why most products made of steel and even aluminum are so weak and completely fail so easily and so fast is because almost all of the metal they use in China for cheaper products as well as often even mid grade products are made from recylcled metals that are loaded with contaminents , you can literally see the contaminents some tines in some breaks, zero quality control and pure garbage, my brother has been a professional rather high end chef at numerous restaurants for 16 years and he strictly only ever has bought german and japanese top of the line knifes and has never broken or bent a single one of them , they will also sustain much much more use before needing to be sharpened and stay razor sharp for a long time each time they are sharopened.

    Btw, I also love that you use what's already available to you when you go camping. It shows how resourceful you are and you don't need brand new gear just to go camping. You camp like a pro and most people would've wimped out and slept in their car. 😂

    This is probably the best camping setup I’ve ever seen. That exhaust system is perfection. 2 hours, and loved every minute of it. You even used the bark to sit on while getting the fire going.

    These camping videos are top notch Post10. I love the interesting places you set up camp, I love your wood stove setup’s, and I love watching you cook and eat your meals. As a suggestion, I would love to see you set up a camp over a small stream. It would be great to have the sounds of the running water keep you entertained all night.

    2 hours of superb content, your camping video's are pure class and compulsive viewing because you include us and talk to us as if we are there with you. Your burp and fart just hilarious. I always get concerned about wild animals or a weird person getting in to your camp, but thankfully it hasn't happened Thankyou post10 and respect from 🇬🇧

    Hey, post! First of all great video! :) I really dont think a couple of screws hurt a full grown tree, regardless of whether you leave them in or not. I have seen old barbed wire fences fully grown inside trees. Treehouses and bird houses are often screwed on the tree. Also all kinds of critters make small and large holes in trees and unless it is a giant infestation the tree usually recovers.

    I truly needed your video today! For a hot second, it looked as if you were hiding a tank with that "cannon" poking out! Thank you for taking care of God's smallest ♥️🙏🏽 P.S. You could open your own restaurant there and call it "Stumpies"! 🥰 Being in the "understory" you had less snow on you.

    That's what I was thinking, he could have used long straight branches and tied them to the trees to construct a makeshift frame, and then instead of a short but wide tent, it could have been more cube shaped.
